An enjoyable quick read!, April 8, 2009
This review is from: Love at First Click (Paperback)
"Love at First Click" is about Hayley Caldwell, a high school sophomore with a great passion for photography. She is the photographer for her school's newspaper and does all the photo coverage for the school's football team. On the football field, Hayley can't help but notice Flynn Dalancy, one of the star players. Hayley's heart is crushed when her sister Breeze the-girl-that-can-obtain-any-guy-she-wants starts to date Flynn. Why care about a guy who didn't even know that she exists?
"Love at First Click" by Elizabeth Chandler is an enjoyable quick read. As a teenager, I loved reading the Love Stories Series and out of all the authors who contributed to the series, Chandler was by far the best. I'm very happy that she still continues with this genre.
If you haven't read the novels from the Love Stories Series, I highly recommend it, although you would probably have to borrow them from the library or order it used because they are out-of-print.
Her books from the Love Stories Series:
#12: Hot Summer Nights
#32: At First Sight (this one is my favorite!)
#35: I Do
Also, check out her Dark Secrets Series, especially if you enjoy YA thrillers.

cutesy but fun!, October 27, 2009
This review is from: Love at First Click (Paperback)
My Thoughts: This is one for those guilty pleasure books for me. The kind that seem too much young adult for me, because you know what is going to happen before it does. Well, this book was really cute. I really liked Hayley and the way she was portrayed. I loved the looking through her camera angle. She never told Flynn she liked him and he started dating her sister while she starting dating her sister's ex-boyfriend. There were laugh out loud moments and a few where they were so sweet I had to reread them a few times before going on to the next page. The mushy kind where it leaves you saying awwww. I really liked Flynn from the get go. The other guy, not so much. I loved how Flynn was coming over to their house just to see Hayley but saying it was to see her sister. This book was really cute. By the time, you don't know if it means click as in taking a picture or using a mouse online. I thought maybe it was a online chat conversation book. BUT, I loved the photography angle. We see the story going in one direction, than it quickly goes another! I loved the twist!!! This is a quick fun read being about 200 pages bur none the less, really cute and adorable. I really enjoyed reading it!
Overall: Really enjoyable. I love the characters! Good for a day on the beach or cuddled under the blankets on the sofa! It was short and I wish it was longer! I loved the ending!
Cover: I really like the cover. I think its cute. I like this one better than the old one. This book is a reprint I believe. Love the way their arms are around each other!

Great read, October 15, 2010
This review is from: Love at First Click (Paperback)
This was a really fun book.
The description for this book makes it sound a little like Haley is a back biting (or maybe sister biting) girl. In reality, Haley is a really nice girl, despite her sister being a bit annoying and self-centered. Slightly dorky Haley and her yearbook friends come off as people you'd want to meet, and Flynn turns out to be a gorgeous jock with a soft spot for his two very much younger sisters. It's easy to understand how Haley falls for him.
The book isn't cheesy, and it's well written. You never get annoyed with Haley and think, "What are you DOING?" unlike in many other books. I definitely recommend this book.
