The third smash international single from Kylie Minogue's smash album "Fever", is the second track promoted to America as a single. Climbing into the top 40, it was Kylie's fifth top 40 hit, following the top ten success of "Can't Get You Out Of My Head". This Australian CD-Maxi release of the single is probably the best put together of the international releases, this package contains the b-sides and mixes that were released on two seperate pressings in the UK.
The b-sides of the single are wonderful, the first being a new version of "Can't Get You Out Of My Head", filtered through New Order's classic single "Blue Monday." This new "Can't Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head" is probably even better than the pop gem of the original. Next up is the great "Baby". An incredibly strong bonus tune, it could have easily made the album, and it did, as it's also available on the Japanese issue of the "Fever" album.
Next up is a trio of mixes, the best being the dance pop makeover by Twin. It keeps the pop feel of the song, but still manages to club the song up a bit. A nearly ten minute Ruff & Jam remix also holds it's own, providing a perfect mix to lose yourself in on the dancefloor. The only dud is the Scumfrog edit, a dark thumping mix, it really doesn't fit the song as well as the other mixes, and despite being in a bite-size edit format, it's still hard to swallow. Despite the one flawed mix, this package is excellent, and perfect for the fans of this song.

Since the smash-hit No.1 single Can't Get You Out Of My Head from September 2001, Kylie Minogue has enjoyed her biggest success since 1988. Can't Get You Out Of My Head sold more than 1,150,000 copies last year to become the 3rd biggest seller of 2001. The No.1 album Fever has sold more than 1,000,000 copies in the UK (8,000,000 worldwide) and the hit single In Your Eyes hit No.3 in February. Her sold out European tour kicked off in spectacular fashion in April 2002 and has yet to finish. Love At First Sight is the third single from the amazing album Fever. My Love At First Sight single is the UK Version and features three songs and a video.

1. Love At First Sight (10/10) - This has to be one of Kylie's greatest singles ever. Not as strong as Can't Get You Out Of My Head, but catchier and stronger than In Your Eyes. Shame it wont get to No.1 because of that Elvis tune.

2. Can't Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head (10/10) - This stunning remix of the No.1 single is (dare I say?!) better than the original. This was the version she performed at the Brit Awards 2002 in THAT skimpy white mini-dress. The 9 or 10 fasts beats are so cool and catchy (I think it's 9 - they go so fast I can't count!).

3. Baby (10/10) - This amazing song was included on some Import versions of Fever. I just don't understand why it wasn't included on the UK edition!!! It's just so catchy; "ba, ba, ba/ba, ba, ba, ba, ba". I know that doesn't give much away about the song - but remember Cant Get You Out Of my Head? You loved the "la,la,la"'s on that didn't ya?! Eh? Eh? Eh?

4. Love At First Sight (Enhanced Video) (10/10) - The video to Love At First Sight is absolutely amazing!!! Much better than the In Your Eyes video. I love the white lines all over the screen and the way the camera never changes from one shot to another - it stays focused on Kylie or the dancers all the time. She looks a bit dizzy and smitten in the video - so much so that she forgets she has her thong hanging out!!! And what is with the blue eyeshadow. Two words Kylie: "Ask somebody"!!!

The whole of this CD is fantastic - apart from the sticker. I like to peel stickers off and now I can't because it doesn't say who it's by on the CD cover!!!

Kylie Minogue has had a ton of catchy tunes, but "Love At First Sight" is head-and-shoulders above the rest. It absolutely rocks!!!!!!

The main reason I bought this cd was the fact you get part 1 & 2 of the uk single of the same for the price of 1 cd. For those who want the "blue monday" mix of "Can't Get you Out Of My Head" it is here. You get the Ruff & Jam and Twin Masterplan full 12" mixes of "Love At First Sight" as well as a edit of the scumfrog mix too. Plus the non lp track "Baby" that is too good not to be on the full cd. So buy the Australian cd single and enjoy the savings. The songs are [cool] as usual too.

Alright, "Love At First Sight", the 3rd single from Minogue's globally-successful light years followup "FEVER" is marginal at best..but its the best FEVER has got left. The problem with this record was, that even though all 12 out of 12 songs were excellent, most arent radio friendly.

After the biggest hit of her career "Cant Get You Outta My Head" made its rounds, "In Your Eyes" was released with the same tactics as this release.

Give the people extra stuff and MAYBE they might buy it. With this aussie version of the third single, this records succeeds in that sense by giving potential buyers a very [nice]sleeve, the album version PLUS the hugely popular "Can't Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head (Live At The Brit Awards)". This is the one remix that 99% of all km fans love and was created by mixing and intertwining "Cant Get You Outta My Head" with New Order's "Blue Monday". You also recieve the another one of the longlist fever bsides "Baby" which was previously only released with the Japaneese version of the album.

The bonus is on the Aussie version of this single, you get CD2's remixes..Ruff & Jam Club Mix.(who also did the us remix of the single, THIS IS NOT THE US REMIX!), the Twin Master Plan Mix and also the Scumfrog's Beauty & Beast Vocal Edit.

The only thing this limited release aussie version needs is the video..and you'd have everything minus the ruff and jam lounge mix so you wouldnt have to buy all three. The whole "dvd SINGLE" thing hasnt really clicked in yet...so i dont see why they use kylie like that. The only way these dvd singles sell is if your someone like madonna that cant have their videos aired...for one reason or another.

So to close, ok single, GREAT extras..and leaves room for yet another 1 or 2 singles to be lifted from the record..Im djstyle..and this is THE REVIEW

I really love it and the remixes are all great as well. You won't regret adding this to your music collection!

I love singing this song! Its just so fun and every way that this song has been remixed has been great! also "Can't get blue monday out of my head is on here! how can you go wrong with this single! Great remixes plus the song "Baby"! This was a great buy!

I personally think she has done better CDs than this. By the way, this is the 'Love At First Sight' American ALBUM, not a single.

Since I'm not a big fan of 'Aussie Pop' (I've tried listening to it--it's just not my thing) I expected I wouldn't enjoy Kylie. I was surprised. One day I heard "Can't Get You Outta My Head" on the radio and I greatly enjoyed it. However, I soon discovered that "Love At First Sight" is five times better. There's more to Kylie than "La la la la la la la" and after hearing "Love At First Sight" it shows how much talent she actually has. With airy vocals of "Can't Get You Outta My Head" and repition, "Love At First Sight" shows all the vocals of Kylie at her best. I'm now considering buying her album!

Kylie's newest single from her smash album FEVER is something to celebrate. It's one of the album's strongest tracks, a throwback 80's song with the right level of retro and new to make a great song overall. She sounds simply wonderful on this track, and it's got a groove which makes you want to sing along or get up and dance. The remixes are really good too, but if you are an avid Kylie fan you will buy this for the rare song "Baby". Overall this was a definite step in the right direction, way to go Kylie!
