Love From a Basketball Player by Author Andrew Rainey is about a known basketball player named Chris who is on the down low. Down low is and has been a big topic lately. Chris and Donte meets at the Mango Lounge restaurant bar. After a few drinks and talking Chris and Donte exchange numbers and become more than friends.

Chris is married and has 2 children. The story line is very good. You will be surprised at what will happen in the story. The story line will hold your interest.

The book does have some editing mistakes, but does not take away from the story. This is a great story that you have to read to understand. The book will give you a list of signs of men on the down low, some I agreed with and some I didn't, but maybe I just don't want to think of men on the down low. I rather men just come out and be themselves. It's no one business to judge anyone. Accept a person for whom they are and love then for whom they are.

If you're are looking for a good book I would recommend this book for you

Love from a Basketball Player is a page-turner to say the least. After reading the synopsis on the back cover, I wasted no time and delved right into the story. There's enough drama and surprise to keep your attention til the very end. My favorite part was the free tips at the end where the author gives you 25 Signs that a Man is on the DL. If you've ever wondered what it's like to be on the DL or are a woman who suspects your man is on the DL, you have to check this book out.

This book is not worth it's price. I was disappointed by the plot of the story. However, the worst is the language or lack thereof. The grammar is bad, spelling is bad. Quite distasteful for an adult who is interested in reading properly written English books.

I would not recommend buying this book. It was a waste of money.

it reads like an essay about what i did during my summer between the 5th and 6th grade. if thats the level on which u read, buy it. Perhaps the person who wrote the authors bio should have ghostwritten the whole damn thing. waste of money or perhaps i just have no patience or taste for writing style.
