Yeah Yeah boy!!!!!!!! This book is tight. Demonstates the struggle us Gangsta's battle with lovin dem hose. This book was an apifininy fo me. Keeps it Gangsta, slaps dos triflin hose trying to come be tween my papes. Yeah yeah!!!!!

Underground singing sensation, America is making waves in the hood. She is determined to cut her own album. With an angelic voice she is destined for great things.

It has been four-years since America has been able to hold and kiss her man, Omar `aka' Soul. Her one and only. She has remained loyal, loving and held it down for her man the entire time. When Soul gets out he makes America his wife.

Soul is determined to do right by his wife. Since she is the one person that has had his back, he is intent on being a good husband to her. He gets a job that does not pay much. He tries to ignore the fact that his cousin and best friend are getting money hand over fist. Will Soul succumb to the temptations of the streets? Will the call of fast money be his downfall?

LOVE & A GANGSTA by Erick S. Gray was disappointing. I was looking forward to reading the sequel to CRAVE ALL, LOSE ALL, but this was something totally different. This was more like a whole other story. According to the synopsis LOVE & A GANGSTA was supposed to be a story of love and a gangsta. Well the story proved to be totally different . The story mostly consisted on Soul's best friend, Omega, and his ruthless determination to run the streets of New York. The story was slow from the start, the writing was different somehow and also there were quite a few editing issues. I felt something was missing that I just can't quite put my finger on...but this unfortunately, in my opinion, is not Mr. Gray's best work and this is disappointing because he is a superb writer.

This book was okay I expected more. However I did enjoy the love America and Soul's had for each other, I wish it had a happier ending, I hope a sequal is in the making can't wait.

Well this is part two to Lose All, Crave All. That book was a great read, but the sequel to me was ok. Not really what I expected. I see the obstacles that Soul and America must go through to keep their love strong as for as Sould trying to stay away fromt he streets and do the right thing by America. America is trying to stand by her man and believe he was changing for the better. But I don't know something to me was missing. I did like the book though but maybe in part three there will be a little more excitement.

All I can say is if life in the big house is that steamy arrest me now!!!! Then he got out and dose hoes got in the way of that gangsta love.

VERY GOOD BOOK. A LESSON LEARNED THINGS ARE NEVER THE SAME WHEN YOU COME HOME FROM THE BIG HOUSE.THE DEVIL ALWAYS FIND A WAY TO PULL YOU IN..

LOVE AND A GANGSTA WAS AN OKAY READ WASN'T AS GOOD AS CRAVE ALL LOSE ALL. HOPE THERE ANOTHER PART TO IT AND ITS WAY BETTER

I HAVE JUST FINISH READING THIS BOOK. IT WAS SLOW. ERICK NORMALLY BRINGS IT.. BUT THIS TIME IT TOOK HIM LONGER TO BRING THE PAIN...

To beginning with I love this cover It shows the strength of the characters that are within this novel. I found that this author has a way of bringing everything together yet he leaves you wondering what is going to happen next. The book is great
I would of like to know how long did Greasey hold it down without saying anything as to how much stronger than the other crew he really was .I also want to know how Omega's life ends and if Omar aka Soul & America go on without each other in an mature way or do they bring on the drama with Kendal & the baby name being Kahlil, Omar being the middle name close in name with to "K" yeah like Kendal although i dont want to wait
I look forward to reading the third part I highly recommend Love & A Gangsta by Erick S. Gray
