This album has high quality sound and some of the best German Songs. In particular, Ein Heller Und Ein Batzen is recorded with all of the verses to the song. Most albums only have one or two verses. If you like German Music, you'll definitely want this one.

What a great cd!... I was first attracted to this cd by its clever title and the lovely frauleins on the cover. I do love German folk (although I'm still more than a little annoyed at their antics in the first half of the 20th century) and I definitely like beer drinking. The songs in this collection are top-notch and even though I can't understand a word of them, I think I get the gist and know I get the beat and can most certainly grooooove to them!

Some of my old favorites are here (and probably some you'll like too). I was particularly pleased to note the inclusion of a song written for me entitled "Unter Dem Doppeladler". The hedonist's delight "Klarinettenmuckl" is also included as is my personal favorite--"Madel Ruck, Ruck, Ruck". These are great tunes, sung in great spirit. Wow.

This Cd is great when you are drinking an ice-cold beer with family and friends or a non-alcoholic beverage since I don't drink alcohol.The music is great and the singers are great to sing-a-long with even though I don't speak much german. Great!!

I appreciate German traditions and music.
This album will make you tap your feet and raise a stein of Heffeweissen.

I just love these "Theme Party" cd's. From time to time we have a German Fest party, and you just can't beat these German "Sing Along" cd's. They are so much fun, and add so much to your party and friends enjoyment.
