This book was just "okay" for me. The story is set in a small Texas town. Tells the tale of a bad-boy who was labelled from birth and the preacher's daughter he desired but thought out of his reach. Typical story line with not a lot to set it apart from others with the same plot. I had a difficult time just finishing it. This has been my least favorite of Ms. Gray's books. Read "Prodigal Daughter" and "Trophy Wife" which were both about a 3 1/4 on my scale of "1-5". My favorite has been "Witness",would rate it a 4 1/2 and "Fatal Flaw" a 3 3/4. Hope this helps!
