I can't believe it. I have not heard Gene Pitney sing recentley. WHAT A SURPRISE, and a happy one. His voice has not changed. In fact it has gotten better. As soon as I heard that voice all my memories(happy ones), came back to me. I highly recommend this cd and now am going to buy other recent ones. I hope he comes to Chicago soon I will be in the front row.

More Gene Pitney, January 9, 2007

I bought this CD as a gift for someone who is having a second marriage to their husband of 40 years. Their song was 'I Love You More Today' and after hunting high and low this is where I found it (at an affordable price). The album is wonderful - I thought it might have been a rerecording of these tracks but, happily, I found they are the original tracks. I love Gene Pitney's arrangements and he covers several well known songs here. I particularly enjoy 'Stop! In the Name of Love' and 'You've Lost That Loving Feeling'. I already have a large Gene Pitney Collection, but there were 12 songs on here that I hadn't already heard. Well worth getting!
