Love Has Wings by Isha Judd is a spiritual self-help book that really makes people look at their life, and how they are living it. If you want to change your life for the better, and I mean really do it, not just think about doing it, read this book!

This is a self-help book that helps to push people out of their comfort zones and call people out on their issues. Of course, it is done in a subtle way and has a variety of stories and ways to see things differently to help people with changing their prior held beliefs about life. But you know what? I think people need to be shaken up sometimes (in a loving way of course) to get out of the victim or comfort mode in life.

Choosing to be a victim or a creator in your life is the main theme in the book. Do you want to be a whiny "Why me?" kind of person who is living a life they don't enjoy living? Or would you rather be a creator and create the kind of life you do enjoy living?

Overall, I enjoyed reading this book and found quite a few things useful in my own life to help me out. Everyone can always use a little extra help and loving push to change things, and I am no exception. I think that everyone could benefit from reading this book and hopefully using it to help them in their life. I highly recommend it.

This is my modern day Bible. Isha brings spirituality to the 21st century. Practical advice on how to live an abundant, joy filled life. She squashes straight through our limiting beliefs and illusions. My favorite "I am a sinner and should atone for my sins." It doesn't get more simple then this people. I can choose to be a Victim or a Creator in every moment!

Format: Paperback
Isha Judd, author of Why Walk When You Can Fly has written another inspiring and practical book extolling the necessity and joy of cultivating personal and planetary "love-consciousness." "Yes, we hope for a world free from conflict," Isha writes, "but waiting around for the world to change doesn't help matters. Change yourself, and then you will be contributing in the most profound and effective way to the creation of a peaceful planet."

Love consciousness is not the same as the love we feel for others; rather, it is the presence of love in everything, the energy that is our very being. Our creative power in this world of ever-increasing uncertainty is to cultivate the only thing that can make a difference: "love-consciousness, the unlimited energy that connects us with totality." This, she tells us, is our true nature: emptiness vibrating in love.

Since our minds are so full from the outer world distractions, we begin by emptying the mind, by unlearning old opinions and ideas, and resistance to change. Isha guides readers in this process by exposing some of the most universally cherished fear-based illusions of reality, such as "there is not enough," and then examining real life problems that these illusions can create in our interpersonal relationships.

"Our future transformation is not important. What is important is what we're choosing in this moment. Am I choosing love? Am I choosing to be responsible? Am I choosing to change my life. Am I putting unconditional love above everything and trusting in that? When I see external insecurity am I being internal insecurity? Am I evolving or am I isolating myself in more fear?"

A globally acclaimed spiritual teacher, Isha offers reliable advice and practices for cultivating love-consciousness, and demonstrates that "filling our personal lives with peace, honesty, and transparency is the most profound and effective way to the creation of a peaceful planet."

I have read this book and I am confused about how to find this "love consciousness" and how to look at everything and be filled with love. It would be nice to have a rosy picture and outlook of everything around me but this book was a lot of words that just did not teach me much. I am glad though that it did enlighten the other reviewers.
