I write passionate paranormal romance books as Felicity Heaton and F E Heaton. In my books I create detailed worlds, twisting plots, mind-blowing action, intense emotion and heart-stopping romances with leading men that vary from dark deadly vampires to sexy shape-shifters and wicked werewolves, to sinful angels and hot demons!

If you love your angels a little dark and wicked, my best selling Her Angel series is for you. If you like strong, powerful, and dark vampires then try my Vampires Realm series I write as F E Heaton or any of my stand alone vampire romance books I write as Felicity Heaton.

In 2011, four of my six paranormal romance books received Top Pick awards from Night Owl Reviews, Forbidden Blood was nominated as Best PNR Vampire Romance 2011 at The Romance Reviews, and many of my releases received five star reviews from numerous websites.

This is going to be a hard review. I love this author and the way she writes, but this book just didn't do it for me the way I wanted it to. Felicity tells the story in great deal, so be prepared for a long book, it was 700 pgs. on my kindle. At the first some things are repeated and it dragged in the middle for me.

I loved the characters, the mythological story elements and the reincarnated story life of Lauren. What I didn't like was how the hero Julian was portrayed and how Lauren treated him in the past. I would feel sorry for Julian at times and then there are times when I felt Julian was a wimp. There are some other things that happen that will make you very emotional. I hate to get caught up with a character and then poof they are gone, but it makes every thing more real. As for the sex between the hero and heroine, they have quite a bit of sexual tension from the start then it keeps building, but you won't see any real action until your almost at 600 pages. So for those of you who love the sex action be patient.

Over all the action and danger along with the mythological story made for a good book, so I would suggest this to anyone loves these elements in a book.

I hate writing negative reviews but considering that I bought this due to all the positive reviews and my subsequent disappointment, I feel that I should give other readers some warnings.

Basically the story isn't bad, but the main characters are just... well, kind of too realistic. You know like how real people with real love issues are just constantly worrying, moaning and thinking about it internally?... well, writing all that out in a full length novel doesn't make for the most entertaining of reads.

There is way too much internal monologue going on, and it's extremely repetitive... like, I mean, there are literally paragraphs upon paragraphs of internal dialogue saying essentially the same thing but with a multitude of different sentences. I've never sighed with boredom and frustration so much as when reading those. The whole story was essentially a backdrop to the incessant internal whining, from both main characters.

I wanted to like this book, it had such promise initially and the overarching story is interesting. But with most of the book just consisting of the same internal monologue, it gets tiresome really fast.

Love Immortal is a beautifully written love story of epic proportions. Full of stunning descriptions, legendary battles and inspirational relationships. Felicity E. Heaton achieved a uniquely harmonious balance between love and war in this novel. There's plenty of mushy content that will appeal to romance readers but there's also tons of action to make this book a well-rounded read.

The writing style took my breath away. The characters jump right off of the pages, at times, I even felt like I was a part of their adventure. The emotional rollercoaster ride that they experience throughout this story is almost palpable, from the look in their eyes to their body language. I never doubted the depth of emotion that's between Lauren and Julian. The ending was pretty clear in my mind from the very beginning but the progression was better than the culmination in some ways due to the writing.

Lauren is going to die on her 35th birthday. There's no ifs, buts or maybes about that. It's predetermined, her destiny. Her existence doesn't end upon her death but I'd imagine knowing when you're going to die isn't easy to live with. When the event itself occurs, it's described in vivid detail. The pain, the fear, the doubt... I've never read anything like it in a novel and I read A LOT. But the craziness doesn't end there, Lauren is then reborn as a vampire and not in the *poof* sorta way as is typical of this genre. Readers get to discover her new powers and thirst right along with her through her POV. Her death and transformation are my favorite parts of this book. These chapters were incredibly unique and enthralling. I may not re-read the entire book, but those two elements are definitely worth a second visit.

This was an excellent book with complicated characters and well developed storyline. I loved the mixture of immortal gods, demons, mortals with powers, and of course what is a great paranormal book without werewolves and vampires. If you love paranormal romance, this book covers it all, love st ory and excitement. I couldn't put it down until I finished, and I wasn't disappointed. Julian and Lauren were great together, although it took far too long for them to realize it. There were several characters I would love further stories on. Hint Hint

I loved the book. I thought it was awesome. The heroine Lauren is the reincarnation of Illia the demi-goddess. Illia was sent to earth by Zeus to kill Lycaon, the first werewolf and creater of the species, to save her mother; the goddess Selene. She constantly gets reincarnated until she kills Lycaon and Lauren is the reincarnation that the book is about. I liked Lauren because she want one of those "eeeek save me!!" kind of women who relies on the hero the whole book to save her whenever she gets herself into trouble but rather tries to protect herself. She takes a while but she embraces the fact that she has to save the world and works to become stronger. Even without the hero I would have believed she would succeed in the book just because of her attitude and her will to succeed.

The hero is Julian who is the last of Illia's army, the Arcadians. He is also the appointed protector of Illia's reincarnations until they "awaken". I loved him because no matter what happened he was always trying to do his duty to Illia. He kept on going though the years in hopes of being loved but not believing he would ever be. By the way he thinks you can tell he has been hurt alot and doesn't like to show it. He keeps alot of his feelings to himself most of the time. I felt sad for him but at the same time I felt proud of him because even though he went through so much he still found the will to carry on and keep doing his duty when he could have given up. I thought he was a great hero and would have loved to meet him.

In the book the emotions were there and it made it all seem so much more like real life. I liked that it wasn't one of those cheesy romances where they meet, do thier own version of "oh its you", then go straight to boinking.
