You won't be disappointed with this recording! It is a marvelous rendition of classic Neapolitan songs that are sung with such zest and clarity. We will clearly be hearing a lot more from these three singers and I can't wait until the next release. If you want an extra treat, get the DVD of the performance from which these recordings come. Watcing Andiamo in action is a treat unto itself. These guys are hot in every sense of the word.

The three men's voices are very good, though of popular rather than operatic caliber, and they sing with great enthusiasm, notwithstanding some flatness of pitch at times (e.g., during "Volare"). The repertoire on this CD is nothing new (except perhaps for the Italian version of "La Danza" which is probably the best track); they could have been more original, which would have enhanced the overall quality of the recording. The arrangement of "O Surdato 'nnammurato" is peculiar (to my ear) and spoiled what is one of my favorite popular Italian songs.
I wouldn't mind hearing more from this trio but would appreciate some originality of repertoire.

Not worth buying,

Their voices are not that great and they seem to be a little flat or out of tune several times. There is nothing particularly unique about the music and many other people have recorded these songs and done a much better job. I've listened to the CD multiple times and tried to give it a fair chance, but it is one that I won't be keeping. I generally like like this type of music, but this CD is just not very good.

Three of the Best.....,

This CD and DVD are truly sensational. Giovanni, Paola and Claude are a joy to listen to and I guarantee the songs stay with you as you go about your day. All three have wonderful voices, the choice of their songs are beautiful and they really enjoy pleasing their listeners. I can't wait for more Andiamo!!!!
