5.0 out of 5 stars My Little Roberto
Exceptional work, Mrs Norfleet.

Just like the rest of your works, Love Is For Keeps is in there with the best of them.

I consumed this book so fast, I gonna have to read it again to get the full effect. I definately

missed Roberto's antics, but I'm glad that he finally grew up and came into his own. I knew

he had to be in "love"...

3.0 out of 5 stars OK sequel.....
Ok sequel to Reflections of you for some reason I felt that the passion was missing in this book I was not convinced by the romance between Roberto and Brandy there is no chemistry IMO. What made it worth reading was to see Isabella get her comeuppance she was more of a caricature baddie and her scenes are funny whether that is intentional or not I am not sure. But better...

Exceptional work, Mrs Norfleet.

I consumed this book so fast, I gonna have to read it again to get the full effect. I definately

missed Roberto's antics, but I'm glad that he finally grew up and came into his own. I knew

he had to be in "love" the moment he turned some food down. Ha, that was hilarious....

I love the chemistry between him and Brandy and I like the way he took charge of her situation.

I will not spoil this story any further by giving too many thngs away, but I really , really wish that

IR would fall off a cliff, or some wild lion consume her wretched flesh....

Sheesh!!!!

Good stuff

Thanks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Puerto Rico, love and yes, Roberto!, September 26, 2006
This review is from: Love Is For Keeps (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
"Love is For Keeps," the sequel to "Reflections of You" gave us more of the delectable Roberto Santos and believe me, I savored every page of him!

Roberto has the reputation of being a rich, notorious player who could lead a woman to heartbreak in 30 minutes or less. (Have mercy!) And yes, like many people, he has a few issues: He's harboring a two-year old secret from his brother and the rest of his family, dealing with an unruly employee who reminds him of a younger version of himself and he's falling in love with a woman who doesn't want him.

Raising her teenage brother, Brandy Parker is hardworking, family-oriented and a complete stranger to letting go and having fun. Yet, while at a nightclub, Brandy meets Roberto and much to her surprise - and dismay -- sparks fly, lips connect and she enjoys it. The only problem is she's heard about Roberto's reputation and shies away from getting involved any further - or at least she tries.

I must say, in the first few chapters I wasn't feeling Brandy. Her indecisiveness was a little annoying and I didn't think she could handle Roberto. However, toward the middle of the book I was pleasantly surprised. Brandy finally stepped out of her comfort zone, took a few risks, and began to realize that she couldn't believe everything she'd heard about Roberto. More importantly, she learned to have faith -- especially when it comes to love.

I SO enjoyed this book! The love scenes were intense and passionate. Let me put it this way: Running water + Roberto = rapid heartbeat and instant meltdown. (Whew!) The description of Puerto Rico was gorgeous. Ms. Norfleet captured the very essence of this magnificent and lush island. I felt like I was there again.

It was great to catch up with Marco (Roberto's brother), Angela, Angelina and even, Isabella. I'm glad that Marco and Angela finally received some closure in their lives. (You MUST read "Reflections of You" to get the full story). Based on the new friends introduced in the book, I feel a few sequels coming on! (Yes!!) Well done, Ms. Norfleet, I remain a die-hard fan!

1.0 out of 5 stars I have no Idea how..., November 16, 2011
This review is from: Love Is For Keeps (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
...I started out as such a big Norfleet fan then, with the flip of a switch, I began to loathe every piece of paper that her pen touched. I really don't know what happened. Like with a previous review I've written I realize that her writing may be too old for me... not over my head, but too old. The jargon used is not that of a 23 year old (even when she tries) thus, is not realistic to me and to be honest, a lot of the times things seemed force to me. I think I have the jump off this Norfleet bandwagon before I steal the wheel and run us all into the side of a mountain.
