I finished this book several days ago and haven't stopped thinking about it! I enjoy the whole celebrity theme in romance novels, especially when the couple meets before making it big. I absolutely loved Emma and I have to admit I always have a hard time liking the h. But Emma's independent and determined to live her life her way. She's accountable for her decisions and knows her life will be what she makes it out to be, even if it goes against what everyone else wants for her. How can you not like that? She meets and falls in love with Jackson when he's still an aspiring actor. They instantly hit it off and are both surprised by how fast their feelings for each other grow.

I don't want to give anything away because I don't want to ruin the story for you. I highly recommend this book! I was so completely lost in it that I couldn't do anything but read until I finished it. It's an emotional roller coaster so be warned this is not a "light" romance novel. You will love Jackson and Emma and won't want the story to end! Oh! And talk about steamy sex scenes!

I also like the conclusion the book had. It's so nice to read a book without a cliff hanger since it seems that's the trend these days. I'm thrilled to have found a new author to follow!

I read this on the recommendation of the girls in the Amazon forum on jealous/possessive heroes. It worked well for me. Thought that the hero was believably portrayed as an actor. There was a certain Gideon/Eva dynamic in the kind of sick need that the couple has for each other.

I really liked the heroine in this one because she stood up for herself and even if she made decisions that were frustrating at the time, it made sense within the context of the book.

I agree with one of the reviewers who said if you liked A Mighty Storm, you'd like this one although the heroine is less frustrating and there is no cheating. Even better, it's a fully contained story which is so rare these days.

Worth the $3.99 price to me.

There are several ways to describe this book: contrived, melodramatic, too long, cheesy, inconsistent. To be honest, I feel dumber for having read it. The author apparently doesn't think her readers are very intelligent anyway. Love Left Behind contains several themes I hate: insta-love, "big misunderstanding" keeping couple apart, unconvincing villain, characters who are TSTL, too much sex makes it repetitive and un-sexy, hero gets very creepy in the last quarter of the book.

Here are some of the reasons I disliked the book...**Some Spoilers**
- The H/h meet and there is no build up at all, they have sex on their first date and are a serious couple in less than a week.
- Within 3 months they are pledging undying, permanent commitment and much of it is very cheesy i.e. "You're my life, I can't breathe without you" etc.
- Jackson is a wannabe actor who gets a BIG break (starring in a major motion picture) and tries to quit after one week b/c he can't function without Emma by his side. Really??
- The reasons for their separation could have been easily solved by a phone call or two.
- When they run into eachother after FIVE years, the H is a psycho path. It's not sexy, he's restraining-order-bat-sh!t-crazy.
- Even after reuniting, the h is so stupid she never even asks the H for the truth about what she believes happened to break them up.

I love alpha males, and I love when Heroes are possessive of their women, but it has to be done correctly and this was not. The hero seemed very "Fatal Attraction" the last quarter of the book particularly, and it didn't make him hot or tough, it made him seem desperate and weak.

I really loved this book! It is in my top 10 favorite books!!!

Who knew 1 lie could change over 5 years! Well I read this book and found out!

Emma is in a long term relationship with Sean and has been for 10 years since she was 15. But she doesn't feel passion she is just doing what she feels she is suppose to be doing. Right before her wedding to Sean she realizes she can't do it. She cancels the wedding and moves to New York to start over.

She ends up moving in with a daughter of a friend of her moms Claire who is an actress looking for work. Claire takes her in and shows her around and introduces her to Nathan, Mia, and Jackson. Emma isn't looking for anything serious but she is extremely attracted to Jackson a gym trainer while looking for acting gigs. He offers to train her and gets her a membership to her job. They end up hitting it off and all is well and good until tragedy brings her back home.

Jackson can't take her being at home and sacrifices everything to be with her.. But Emma can't let him and things take a turn when a friend deceives them. 5 years later Jackson is back in her life but can their relationship survive the lies and mistrust they have in one another. You will have to read the book to find out. It is a wonderful story that I couldn't but down and I loved every minute of the roller coaster ride!!!!
