Not what I expected...,

This review is from: Love Letters of Great Men (Paperback)
Although this includes excellent letters, it does not include the SPECIFIC letters I was expecting. The editing is also a bit amateurish. It is an OK book, but if you are a Sex and the City fan, look into other titles.

This book is awful,

This thing looks like a junior high school student slapped it together in an afternoon, just to try to take advantage of the "buzz" from the Sex and the City movie. It's virtually unreadable.

This is an excellent compilation of some of the greatest love letters ever written. I purchased this book because of it being mentioned in the sex and the city movie. These letters are sweet, smart and interesting to read. I would recommend it.

Inspired by a film release this summer I decided to order this book, and was not disappointed. Wonderful, often simple expressions of love and longing.

When I first ordered this book I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by the level of romanticism. It reminded me of how deeply a man can feel because alot of times they don't show it or express it. It was refreshing to read about the passions of these great men. It did fan the small flame that I had about romance. It gave a little hope that all is not lost.

Poorly done rip off,

This book is a jumbled mess. The fact that they misspelled Ludwig van Beethoven's name is just a small hint of how bad this thing is. It has nothing to do with the movie Sex and the City, btw, despite the false implication it does.
