Book Description

January 2002
Love Letters is filled with easy-to-understand and useful information, showing how by looking at small samples of handwriting, you can start to make better choices of romantic partners. Organized according to particular character traits, each chapter of this book focuses on a specific principle and offers concise explanations.

The book is also full of celebrity handwriting samples, all used to illustrate certain personality types. Find out whether you have the organizational skills of Madonna, or, the intuitive powers of Bruce Springsteen. Does your loved one have the ambition of Napoleon or the strength of will of Babe Ruth?

You will learn enough about your partner's personality from this book to gauge the possibility of success in your relationship. For example, just by looking at the direction in which your partner's writing slopes, or whether the tops of the small 'a's and 'o's are open or not, you will know whether he or she is introverted or extroverted, sociable or removed, secretive or very open.

There is no one magical tool to ensure happiness in life, but this book may well help you to bypass some problems in your personal life. Love works in mysterious ways, but handwriting is a great help in seeing what obstacles and potentials there are in your relationship.

About the Author

Paula Roberts is known internationally as the "English Psychic". In 1971 she joined the Spiritualist Association in

Great Britain, where she learned to develop her clairvoyant abilities. This led to her establishing a flourishing psychic practice. She is also known for her world predictions and scientifically controlled ghost hunting and her successes in these fields have been documented in leading journals of psychic research as well as many television shows. Ms. Roberts has lived and worked in New York City since 1978. While still living in London, in 1973 she studied handwriting analysis with Patricia Marne (considered to be one of England's finest graphologists).

Based on this education, Ms. Roberts has always started her counseling sessions with an analysis of the client's own writing, followed by a compatibility study on their friends, family and business associates. It is this very extensive practice which has provided her with invaluable knowledge of the value of assessing relationships through handwriting. This is the wealth of experience she has brought to this book.

This is why handwriting analysis and graphology are not given any respect. All this book does is profile handwriting of celebrities from a "love" standpoint. It is not at all entirely accurate to graphology standards and the author does a poor job of the analysis. Many of the samples could have many meanings in regards to intimate relationships, but only certain aspects were covered thus exposing the authors limited knowledge of this subject. While it does cover several celebrities, it is a very slim offering.

If your looking for parlor tricks to amuse your friends, this is the book for you. If you are a serious student, do an Amazon search for handwriting analysis books. There are much, much better books on handwriting analysis out there by trained experts in the field.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE LETTERS, February 22, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Love Letters: The Romantic Secrets Hidden in Our Handwriting (Paperback)
I'm enjoying Love Letters tremendously as it is not only entertaining but extremely informative. Once I pick it up I find it difficult to put down. It's presented in an easy-to-read style with numerous clear and interesting examples of handwriting.

In searching through the book looking for insights into your own handwriting traits you hope that you haven't been revealing to the world that you are 'frugal,' 'secretive' or 'boring.' I can assure you though that after this wonderful course of instruction each time you put pen to paper you'll be wondering
what you are telling other knowledgeable folk about yourself.

Of course, a great benefit will be having some additional insights into the character traits of any new relationship that you are contemplating and, thus, heading off at the pass any pitfalls.

Everybody can benefit from Love Letters as it brings into sharp focus an area of awareness about others that you may have overlooked previously.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating, Informative and Wow!, February 20, 2002
This review is from: Love Letters: The Romantic Secrets Hidden in Our Handwriting (Paperback)
I came across this book quite by accident and I am so pleased that I did. I had no idea that someone's handwriting could divulge so much personal information. Once I started reading Love Letters, I was inspecting everyone's handwriting trying to determine their personalities, it was great fun! Thankfully, after studying my fiancé's handwriting, I found that we are a perfect match! I loved this book and will recommend it to all my friends! Cheers to Ms. Roberts for sharing her fascinating knowledge of graphology.
