More About the Author

Dee was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in the legendary Queensbridge Projects. She decided to join the Air Force to travel and pursue higher education. She has always wanted to be a writer but never took the time or had the courage until now, some 100+ how to and self help books later. In addition to writing Dee enjoys organic gardening, reading love stories, mysteries and doing volunteer work for senior citizens. She enjoys Toni Morrison, John Grisham, Nicolas Sparks and Eckhart Tolle. Dee hopes her status as an author will even come close to some of their work one day. She continues to enjoy working as a medical technologist but looks forward to spending her later years exploring her creative energy, laughing more and helping others.

Wow, I was really impressed with this book especially since it's her first novel. I loved the character development and story-line. Also gives you an inside look at what it's like to be a medical technologist in a large hospital lab. Don't let the length deter you. The story keeps you going. It was a fun read and I usually only read science-fiction and fantasy. It was a nice change for me.
