Earl has done it again with another outstanding and drama filled book! I read this book in 3 hours because I couldn't put it down until I found out how all this drama ended. He chose the perfect title for this book because it was filled with love, lies and scandal. The ending is the bomb and it made me want more! Way to go Earl!

This book was one of the recommendations I received from Amazon. After reading the reviews for the book, one reader suggested Keysha's Drama should be read first so I immediately searched for books written by Mr. Sewell and I was happy to find three books in Kindle format. I have had my Kindle for a year now and there are a lot of publishers who don't have Kindle formatted books and I refuse to buy a book that I can't download to my Kindle, and that conviction has forced me read books by other authors and I'm glad I did. I enjoyed reading Keysha's Drama so much, when I finished I immediately downloaded If I Were Your Boyfriend and then Love, Lies, and Scandal. I read these three books in three days, I couldn't put them down. He is an excellent storyteller. I hate when people give a long synoposis of the book so I won't do that. There is an excerpt of each book if you need to know more about the storyline. I can only tell you that I ABSOULTELY ENJOYED ALL THREE BOOKS and I'm looking forward to more from Mr. Sewell. Bravo to you Mr. Sewell for your great storytelling and for making your books available to those of us with Kindles. I didn't get much done this Christmas weekend for reading these books, but I wasn't out spending my money on things I don't need! :O) I would love it if you would put The Good Got to Suffer With the Bad, Through Thick and Thin, The Flip Side of Money, When Push Comes to Shove, and your debut title Taken for Granted in Kindle format.

Earl Sewell's LOVE,LIES and SCANDAL was a wonderful read. I finished it in 2 days. I couldn't put it down. This book has it all. Sex,drama and a truth about men that women will love. I highly recommend this book. I can't wait for his next book to come out.

Angela Rivers is an investigative reporter that seems to have it all. She has a successful career and is married to her congressman husband Will. Angela's career continues to reach new heights as she becomes the host of her own controversial talk show. But her world comes crashing down when her husband Will is found having sex on tape with an underage girl. With Will in jail and their marriage over, Angela leaves California and goes to Chicago to regroup. Angela's best friend Regina helps her to get her career and life back on track. Angela is comfortable in her new life and is not interested in dating anyone. Or is she? Regina's cousin Jesse is a marathon coach who is dealing with the recent breakup of his marriage with his wife Joann. Jesse isn't thinking about another relationship either until he gets reacquainted with Angela.

Love, Lies, and Scandal is an electrifying read by Earl Sewell. Sewell brought a great story about damaging secrets and scandal. This story brought a new timely twist to very public political scandals. There are many strong main and secondary characters that make this novel an enjoyable read. The way Angela and Jesse's stories were tied in together was seamless and unexpected. Sewell also mixes in some uproariously funny dialogue that will have you literally laughing out loud. Love, Lies, and Scandal is a widely entertaining novel that is full of drama and humor. Earl Sewell has another sure winner on his hands.

Can a woman who lost everything find the one thing that matters most? Wow! Once again Earl Sewell has written a story with drama that both men and women can relate to. Love, Lies and Scandals is a book about just that! It will take you on a journey of drama, sex, love, hate, more drama and more sex! I've read the book twice. The first time within a day and a half, I didn't want it to end. This book is definitely a must read! Earl, thanks for another wonderful journey, please keep them coming!

earl sewell has done it again, great storyline boy was will a dog, but you get what you deserve

Earl Sewell KUDOS to you!!! Love, Lies and Scandal is another GREAT book. I was soooo entertained with this book. The drama that goes on in this book is "drama at its best!". Mr. Sewell knows how to get you into every character and allows you to remember each character and not forgot them. I read on the train on my way to work and going home and every day I am rushing to not miss my stop because the story has you soo engrossed in the characters and wanting to know what happens next that I forget my surrounding and lock everybody out my world. One day I was laughing soo hard on the train reading this book that I had to catch myself. This is Earl Sewell's nitch, creating believable drama and making you laugh and be entertained as well. You will truly enjoy the characters (Will, Angela, Jesse, Joann and last but not least my favorite character SMOKEY!). Smokey is too hilarious, I am not going to give his character away but he is too funny and added the right amount of spice to the story. As I read his part I have a nephew just like Smokey soo it was very believable. Will was another character that blew me away and I know there are PLENTY Will's out there. Mr. Sewell has written plenty of books including his young adult series (Keysha's Drama) that I enjoyed immensely as well and can't wait for the 3rd book of the series to come out. Can't wait for the next adult book because I will waiting for that one! Just buy the book you will not be disappointed.

Mr. Sewell does it again! This author isthe expert on writing about dysfunctional realtionships; the good person who marries the wrong person. Angela thought she had it all until she finds out quite a bit about her husband Wil - of course the stuff hits the fan and Angela has to start all over...Jesse is a great guy, married to the wrong woman - after years of up and downs he decides he has had enough and starts over as well.

I am doing my best to try to NOT give away too much of the plot! I really enjoyed this story - Drama, greed, sex, real issues are all found in this story along with friendship, trust and RUNNING! Mr. Sewell is a great writer and this latest book is a goodie - the title says it all! I have been reading Mr. Sewell's work for years! Keep going!

I only have one question...where's the sequel???? I loved this book and it was so much better than what II expected. I loved Angela and Jesse and I wanted to kill Joann. I hope Sewell will do a sequel, I would love a follow up on these characters.

Love, Lies and Scandal was a really good book. Never a boring moment on either one of the 247 pages. It was well worth the money spent. If you like books about love, people telling lies and one big old scandal. the this is the book for you.
