This is an excellent book written in a style reminiscent of Wallace Stegner. It is the story of a marriage where the wife finds out that her husband is having an affair. They are both intellectual country and western folks who met at Berkeley in the 1960's and live in the hills near San Francisco.This novel is a real depiction of real people experiencing pain and hope. |
