I must say that this is by far the most extraordinary song made in the last quadrant of the year 2002. Erykah Badu takes you on a journey from her early childhood when she first smelled the aroma of love, to her impressionable phase and on through her transition to a woman when she realized that there's nothing like a friend evolving into a poignant loving apex. It's almost magical how her story is so simple yet fulfilling to the soul, a fantasy that anyone can receive as reality. To those who can appreciate a technical analysis of album quality, the production is remarkable and the songs are very diverse yet still contains a lyrical style only Badu can produce. You'll love it!
