The Summer Set is harmless enough if you like this sort of thing, but their music is very derivative. "Love Like This," their first full-length release, features the kind of manufactured hooks and whiny harmonies and sophomoric lyrics you might expect from a teen rock band, and every song sounds pretty much like every other. It doesn't do anything that any fairly competent pop group from the 1980s didn't do, and it does very little for me. Meh.

As J. Gordon observes, "Love Like This" does not appear to have come by its five-star rating in an honest fashion. The vast majority of its 80-some reviews are very similar in date, length, and tone -- brief, fawning blurbs that sound like they were produced by a corporate marketing department in order to pump up demand. Almost none of the "reviewers" them have a "Real Name" badge (like the one I have), and nearly all have written exactly one review on Amazon. I'm reasonably certain that a small group of people posted multiple times under a variety of false names. The whole thing stinks of a calculated, collusive, manipulative advertising campaign, perhaps using social media. Boo.

Love Like This is the Arizona based band, The Summer Set's debut full length. I think this album does a great job at portraying what the members are like. The album is a good dancing album, and summer album. One of my favorites to date. If you want an album to dance to, or just have fun with it in general. Definitely pick this album up! If you like bands such as Every Avenue, All Time Low, A Rocket To The Moon, or The Rocket Summer, then The Summer set will quickly become a new favorite.

Honestly, The Summer Set is my favorite band. All of their songs are catchy and they make you want to dance. I think that this is a wonderful debut album. I loved their EPs, but this album just showed everyone what they can do. To me, they're one of those bands you just fall in love with. I think they're music can relate to anyone and I love the fact that they're from Arizona. Do yourself a favor and buy the whole album. Where Are You Now is hands down the best song on the album! :)

This CD is just amazing. Every song of this album is good and catchy. I love the vocals, so original but still so good. The lyrics are cute and funny. A bit different from their last EP, but in a good way. You wont regret buying it!

The Summer Set are still a relatively new band, but I know they're going to hit it big. They're already climbing up the popularity scale, and they deserve it. "Love Like This" is their first full length album, and there's not one bad song on it. Each and every song is fun, and it's not hard to find yourself dancing and singing along before even getting through one song. This CD is especially perfect to blast and sing along to while on Summer road trips! It's just all about being young and having fun, really. As another plus, singer Brian Dales' voice is unique (but great), adding more originality to their sound. All in all, this is a great CD, don't hesitate to buy it if you're even somewhat into pop/rock/powerpop.

I love the whole album and all of their voices! My favorite tracks are Where Are You Know and Love Like This! All the songs are really catchy and I can never get them out of my head. =] You won't regret buying it!

What a great album! It's great to blast in your car when driving around on warm summer nights! Personally I love Boys You Do the most, but they're all amazing! If you love alternative or pop this is an amazing album! Definitely one of my favorites!

I think this cd is awesome. I love it and listen to so much. I pre-ordered it. I have all of the past eps and glad they came out with this album :D

Love Like This is an album that is definitely necessary to your summer 2010 playlist. I love that all of these songs are ones that just make you want to get up and dance and blast them out your car speakers. Brian's unique voice adds the finishing touches to this amazing band with their relate able lyrics. Way to go, The Summer Set. Awesome Album.
