The best worship album I have ever heard,
By alec macadam (i move around alot) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Our Love Is Loud: Live (Audio CD)
I have listened to alot of worship albums, and this one is the best one I have heard. Sound quality is great, and the songs are awesome. It's a live performance, and that's one of the reasons why I think it's as good as it is. This album is a recording of a very real, very intense, and ever enormous worship time. It sounds like literally thousands of people attended the concert, and that means literally thousands of people were worshiping God while this was being recorded. My point is it's real. It's not worship songs that were recorded for the sake of sounding good. No, the artists and people involved were actually worshiping God when this was recorded. And upon listening, the feeling and the "passion" produced can be heard, and felt. If you like to worship God, and you are searching for a means to do so, buy this album. I'm sure it wont dissapoint you. Thank you.

Tuning In To Jesus.,

This review is from: Our Love Is Loud: Live (Audio CD)
The Passion tour is one of the best, perhaps the best, concert to occur in Christian music. Out of all the Passion albums out there, OUR LOVE IS LOUD comes very close to being the best Passion album produced. The songs on the album I enjoy singing most are:
"Here I Am To Worship" "Famous One" "Our Love is Loud" (the title track, duh) "Come Thou Fount" "God of Wonders" On most albums (even Christian praise and worship ones) there's usually a few songs that I totally skip over when I listen to the cd. I can't say that about OUR LOVE IS LOUD because even the songs that I am not most drawn to are songs that are still great to listen to. Complement this album with SACRED REVOLUTION and you have some of the best praise music being written and sung in the past three years.

Worship done well--with "passion", of course!,

This review is from: Our Love Is Loud: Live (Audio CD)
Although not every song on this CD is destined to become a worship "classic", and, in my opinion, it drags in a few places, this is a worthwhile purchase for a meaningful worship experience. The best songs on this release ("Here I Am to Worship", "Our Love Is Loud", and "God of Wonders") have been making the rounds for a little while, but the versions of these songs included here are even stronger than the original recordings. Other highlights include "Famous One" and an amped-up version of the old hymn "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" (although few people may know what it means to "raise my Ebenezer"). A couple of the newer songs seem overly repetitious, and the closer "Dance in the River" is one of those "you had to have been there" experiences, but the "wheat" is of high enough quality here to be able to overlook the "chaff."

Calling all worship leaders!,
By Gwyn Gwyrdd "geek" (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Our Love Is Loud: Live (Audio CD)
Speaking from the standpoint of a worship leader that has not had any firsthand experience with the Passion movement, I have to say that overall this cd is an excellent ministry tool - particularly in contrast with the first two Passion albums. From the first song on the album, which is my favorite, it becomes clear that this music is more subdued and there is more emphasis on catching the crowd's spontaneous response to the moving of the Spirit. I enjoyed the first two albums immensely but felt that many of the "studio mixed" sounding songs would not be possible to duplicate in a smaller church setting. This one, however, left me anxious to try some of the music with my own band. Apparently, the album is one long recorded concert and the audience is never drowned out. They are very much a part of the album. The Passion Band does several songs here that I've always loved but could not picture in a worship setting, such as "My Glorious". The renditions here are excellent in their simplification and evolution into participatory medleys. From a more spiritual standpoint, the songs on this album are full of heartfelt lyrics - lyrics that are good for people to uniformly sing and declare to God. The tone is set with the words of the first chorus: "Here I am to worship, here I am to bow down, here I am to say that You're my God" What better words to open a worship service with? The focus is quickly placed on Jesus from song one. The song, "Enough" contains even more vertical lyrics and the album continues its' rapid ascension to the throne room. The only song that left me thinking "aw, typical fare" was the final track, "Dance in the River". The only words to the song are "we're gonna dance in the river" and they are repeated over and over again. I suppose this was supposed to be a celebratory song and the audience certainly seems to enjoy it, but for all the lyrical emphasis placed on dancing around in the "water" the song seemed rather shallow. This however, seemed trivial compared to the overall experience of the album. Of the three Passion albums, this is by far my favorite. The songs are more aligned with each other in their style and feel less like an artist compilation than some of the other albums. The songs are more lyric based and less music based although the music is still superior. If you are a worship leader, pick it up. These songs will soon be everywhere. The Passion Band, along with several other new sincere worhsip artists like Rita Springer, are quickly building a sincere musical legacy for this generation.

ive listened to many worship bands and everything passion has to offer as of now, but this album has to be the greatest worship album ive ever heard. If its not the best than its tied for first with their other album, ancient hymns; modern and new!!! If you love passion you will also love Chris Tomlin, especially "Not to Us", and "Arriving". Also check out "Watermark"

For those who are not familiar with the Passion worship band, it has been going on for about almost seven years now.. through the years they've developed the most fresh sound of worship music out of every band that releases new flavors.... The previous release "One Day Live" was definitely one of those cds that most praise leaders bought... This one however I believe is one that not only praise leaders but those who are new to passion, can enjoy.. I only say this because many people that I know who were not into passion.. are now into it.. Chris tomlin Kicks off the cd with a cover from songwriter and worship leader from england, Tim Hughes' song... "Here I am To Worship" which by the way is a very popular song these days.. He then sings two new ones "Famous One" and "enough" which has become a favorite at my church... The David Crowder band has become a new Favorite for many.. making a debut to the passion series he sings two originals.. one giving the title.. Our Love is Loud which is an excellent song to get you on your feet.. "Wonderful King" which is just pure praise.. and a modern cover of a hymn "come thou fount" Charlie Hall comes back usually with some new ones and ending off Tomlin closes off with A deliriou5? Cover "My Glorious" and a Deliriou5? tune that has never been recorded called "Dance in the River".. overall the cd gets 5 big ones from me.. I Honestly believe that many will enjoy this one.. especially if you are into the "Pop" sound. But what I feel most strongly is that many will model off this kind of sound in today's Praise and Worship Music.

Passion Comes Through Again,
By Austin (London) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Our Love Is Loud: Live (Audio CD)
How do these guys do it? Once again this humble band of brothers comes through with amazing creativity and musicality, without squashing the message of the Passion movement... namely, more of God and less of us!I was at the Atlanta stop on the Passion Experience Tour where this CD was recorded and at 7:22 the night the CD was released. Both times you could feel the power of God "sweep you away," to echo Charlie Hall's incredibly moving track by the same name. I think "Our Love Is Loud" is a standard bearer as far as worship goes. There is a great blend of totally fresh stuff with songs we all love brought to life in fresh ways. The contributions from Tomlin, Hall and David Crowder Band weave a beautiful and well balanced tapestry. Once again our friends in the Passion movement are leading the way with humility and grace. Don't miss this one.

I love all the Passion cds, however this is my favorite. The voices, the worship, the passion, you can just feel His presence listening to this disc. I encourage both Christians and non-Christians to buy it. The Passion Worship Band rocks and their Love Is Loud!

This is probably my favorite disc at the moment. The Chris Tomlin and David Crowder tracks are awesome. I'm not very big on the Charlie Hall stuff but it isn't bad. "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" is really, really good and Chris Tomlin does a really good job of pulling off "My Glorious". The recording/production is quite well done.

i was browsing through a Christian bookstore and i saw this sitting on the 'bestseller' shelf. i glanced at the list of tracks and was blown away! i went to the assemblies of God youth convention in springfield, il, in november and chris tomlin led many of our worship sessions with songs such as 'God of wonders', 'famous one', 'enough', 'here i am to worship', and 'dancin' in the river'. this cd is awesome and when you listen to it, close your eyes and envision thousands of people lift their hands and voices in praise to our King, Jesus. i recommend this cd to any Christian. God bless!
