Love Me is the sequel to Take Me, one of my all time favorite books. Love Me is about Lily's sister Janica and Travis's brother Luke. I didn't think we'd ever get their story since Bella is now writing for another publisher than when she wrote Take Me and also since it's been so long since Take Me was published. I can only assume Bella had a lot of requests for Janica and Luke's story, one request by me, and I'm thrilled she decided to write their story! I actually screamed when I visited her website's coming soon page and saw it was coming out in July. Needless to say I downloaded it on my Kindle, which I'd just received that week, started it in the morning and finished it within a few hours. Loved it!!!! And I also loved revisiting Lily and Travis to see how their lives were going. I won't spoil it for you. I could read about them forever.Luke and Janica's story was hot and somewhat followed Lily and Travis's in that Luke was the one who had trouble recognizing just how much he loved Janica while she knew exactly how she felt. This is one hot book, not as hot as Take Me, but still a great read and I'm so happy Bella answered our requests and gave us more of the Ellis sisters and those two sexy, gorgeous Conner brothers. I hated when I read the last page. I could read about these characters forever, I loved them so much. Thanks, Bella!

An Absolutely Fabulous, Lovely-Erotic Romance!,

***Spoilers***This is an intoxicating-erotic romance that will have you begging for more. Luke is an ER trauma surgeon and a workaholic that has nothing in his life to care for, except work. All his life, he was the responsible person who never did anything wrong or out-the-ordinary until one night when things go horribly wrong in the ER and he wants to escape from it all, as well as, relief from his personal torments. For five years, Luke has fought his attraction for his sister-in-law Janica. (Janica is not of Luke's world-- she is a wild, outspoken fashion designer who sees fun in everything she does.) But this one night, Luke does the unthinkable and follows his desire and shows up on the doorsteps of the one he desperately needs...Janica! Janica can't believe Luke has shown up at her door (because she has dreamt about him for 5 years), and to top it all off, he embraces and kisses her like she were the last person on earth...like she has always been his. The sparks fly off the radar and he commands her to be his even if it's only for the one night--to be submissive to his beckoning call...this is how Luke shows how desperately he needs Janica. Throughout the story their sexual-romantic interlude progresses into much more than either of them thought possible; after all, opposites do not attract. Janica realized early on in the story that she wanted more from Luke than his body...she wants his heart, and she tells him several times how much she loves him. But Luke can never reciprocate that love; until she leaves him...he then realizes how unfulfilled and miserable his life has become without her. And then (wait for it), he truly, madly, deeply professes his love for her. Janica steals Luke's heart! The sexual contact is amazing, as if you could feel their connection of longing for each other. It is a matter of time, throughout the story, that Luke and Janica realize the love they have for one another. Sizzling hot sex, unfathomable love, good-boy gone totally bad in his dealings with Janica (which is so hot!), extreme-sensuous passion, and "cannot live without" happily-ever-after. The romance in this story is breathtaking. Brilliant writing...it does not let up for one minute (or one word). I would truly read "Love Me" again...that's how intoxicating it was! Kudos to the author, Bella Andre, for a lovely, well-written novel!

I loved Bella Andre's book Take Me. I wondered if lightning could strike twice for the sequel to it. I found that Love Me is a fantastic sequel. It was a swift, pleasant, heart wrenching emotional ride for Janica and Luke. Janica's never back down approach to loving Luke is stunning in how much she gives to him when he isn't sure what his world has become. Luke's fight to become the man that he is so afraid to be is truly stellar in the emotional honesty that Ms. Andre expresses so very, very well. If you need a book to read for those nights where you are feeling alone - this book will give you the highs of reading just how two people can find the trust they need in one another and in themselves to fully love. In giving to each other they finaly find the peace and great love they have both been looking for forever. This book is worth your time and emotional investment.

I read Take me and liked it, but wanted to know if anything happened with Janica and Luke. This definitely answered my question. I bought the ebook and as soon as I started with page one I didn't stop reading until I finished. If you liked Take Me, then you'll love Love Me. If you haven't read either, I highly recommend reading both.

As far as erotic romance goes, Bella Andre is one of the best. I've been waiting for Love Me for years, since I read Take Me...and it absolutely delivered! I love Luke & Janica's romance, and the sex is terrifically written (with a hint of D/s that is pitch perfect).

After nearly losing it in the operating room due to lack of sleep, surgeon Luke finds himself on the doorstep of his nemesis sister in law, Janica, who is on the verge of a canceling a threesome. Luke tosses out the other two guys so that he can finally take Janica this one time... When the hospital sends him on a forced vacation for four weeks to Big Sur, Janica finds him and is determined to turn their single night of pent up lust turn into a relationship. Can Luke give in and share his life with someone else? What a huge disappointment. It's predecessor, Take Me was a steamy and well developed story that dove into the relationship of the protagonists (Janica's sister and Lukes twin brother), "Love Me" has nearly as many pages, but it you account for the enormous margins and large print, it is easily half the size, which means character development and plot take a back seat the many couplings of the couple. It reads more like a short story that would be included in an anthology rather than a stand alone trade paperback. I love a steamy romance, but also like a side of plot. If you take out those passages, there are about 30 pages of sappy dialogue and introspection. Overall a disappointing sequel all around.

This book can teach the writers of television drama how to write a show that is too hot to watch without air conditioning on high and MAYBE too hot for public television! Emotional, fast paced, never a dull or COLD moment! Bella Andrea wrote a smoking hot stand alone drama.

Janica Ellis has been in love with her brother in law for years but just knows that they will never work out romantically, but that doesn't mean she can't get in a little fun in the meantime. Luke Carson lives to work. As a busy trauma surgeon he sometimes doesn't see the light of day for weeks if not months; that is until one day he almost kills one of his patients in the OR. He is ordered to take a month off just to get some much needed rest. He can't face going to an empty apartment, so he goes to his wild sister in law's house instead. But when he gets over to her apartment and see's two guys hanging out with her, his worst suspicion is realized. Janica confirms that she is trying out a new sex position...in between two strangers! Not if he can help it. No sooner do the guys leave than things start to heat up between Luke and Janica. No sooner does the morning come, that Luke is running off to a cabin on the beach, worried about him, Janica follows him. The moment that she steps through the front door, Luke know he is half in love with her already but he fights it, but that doesn't mean he hates hearing her tell him how much she loves him every day. Every day they spend in the cabin, they become closer until Luke's sister in law shows up worried about them since they hadn't contacted anyone for days, lost in their own paradise. After arriving back in the city, Luke goes back to his old ways of working to death trying to erase the memories of him and Janica together, that is until one day, Janica is rolled in on a gurney after a car accident, and for the first time realizes how much he can't live without her. Love Me, the sequal to Take Me by Bella Andre is a delightful romantic short read. I just loved the sexual tension/attraction between Janica and Luke. Definetly a keeper on my ebookshelf.

I loved Take Me, that's the book that introduced me to Bella Andre. I loved Lily & Travis' story and when I found out Bella published Love Me, I was wicked excited. Well...I read the first 87 Kindle pages and I was incredibly bored. The chemistry between Janica & Luke was lackluster and felt forced. I skipped most of the book (though I eventually went back to read the middle) and even the end didn't do anything for me. I wanted a bit more from Tavis & Lily, too.Maybe I'm forgetting what Luke was like in Take Me, but in this book he seemed cold, distant and not the warm guy portrayed previously. Janica seemed a bit wimpy and desperate, not the strong, vivacious designer from before. It's not a total pass for me, but definitely a let-down at this stage. |
