This CD is very funny and overall just great! I really liked their old CD but I can't seem to find it anymore! If anyone knows how I can get it then post it so I can find out or email me at Gremlin0@aol.com. I recommend that everyone buys this CD its GREAT!!

I thought this was good, until I heard two other golf music CDs, one by Billy Mac (TEE IT UP) and then read about TEE IT UP in July's GOLF Magazine, they gave it FOUR stars (****). Dueling golf songs, Jake's are spoofs on songs, Mac's are all original and heartfelt. Jakes's for rockin' fun, Mac's for real music and great lyrics. Buy both, I say.

This makes a great gift for any golf nut. I bought it for myself after Payne Stewart died as a collectors item. The music is good and the lyrics are funny. You'll find yourself singing the songs on the golf course. My father listened to it while visiting me and had to have a copy for himself.

I'm a golf-junkie, and along with two good friends in 1998, we started what we thought was a completely original idea. We created a golf-band and call ourselves The Divots. We released our debut CD, 'golfsongs' of original music and lyrics in 2001.
We got an email from a fan indicating this along with Jake Trout and the Flouders CD were his favorites. We dug around and found out that Peter Jacobsen, Mark Lye, and the late (..and great!) Payne Stewart had done a series of covers with golf lyrics. I found the CD at a local Best Buy and picked it up. It is very well done and they have an allstar lineup helping them on each song. Musically its solid, lyrically its very very funny. Leonard Nemoy, John Daly, Darius Rucker, Glenn Frey, etc...

I heard this golf music while visiting South Padre Island and chilling on Diesel's Golf talk show, the only one in the valley. Keep it up Jake. You too, Diesel.

I first heard this music on South Padre Island... listening to the Diesel Dave Show, Sunday mornings, 9 to 10 am on KVPA 101.1 classic Rock South Padre Island ... just really enjoyed it and the show....btw...Diesel is really cute too!!!

I was skeptical when we bought this CD at the store for a birthday present for my father, I put it into our CD rom in our computer, so we could also see the golf tips it provided for us. Not only did the tips help my game, but I really enjoy listening to the CD. In fact, I am listening to it as I write this review. It has witty lyrics, and a great beat, and as a fellow golfer, and musician, I think this is a super album. If you golf, you will understand the dialog, and relate to it. I love it.

The item was as promised and I received it in quick order. I would most definitely do business with this seller again.

I missed purchasing this CD when it was first released.. If you love golf.. Ya gotta buy it.

With the passing of Payne there will never be another CD like this. It's fun and the music is well done. I stuff it in the CD player in my car every time I'm heading out for a round of golf just to get me in the proper mood, that being golf is a great game not to be taken too seriously.
