For the Love of Princess: Surviving the Loss of Your Pet [Paperback]

Cheryl A. Matschek (Author)

Available from these sellers.

Book Description

December 1998
For the Love of Princess is a deeply moving portrayal of the loving bond between the author and her canine companion of nine years. When Cheryl learned that Princess had an irreversible disease and their time together was limited, her pain began.

Cheryl shares the beautiful years they spent together, leads you through the painful decision of euthanasia, letting go when the time has come, and the many stages of grief that follow. From beginning to end, each page is filled with sensitivity, caring and deep emotion as she begins the road to recovery and healing, eventually leading to a new peacefulness through a transformed union with her pet.

A wonderful book for anyone facing the impending death of a pet, or for anyone who has just experienced the loss. Also a great gift book.
