Paige Cavanaugh's dream wedding to Michael Baldwin quickly turns into a nightmare. Fleeing his hateful words, she winds up out of gas in the tiny town of White Tail, Texas. Paige isn't looking for another relationship, heck, she's sworn off men entirely... but Ryan Cutter is everywhere she turns. Will this sexy cowboy still be around when he finds out Paige's past?

Nobody does a western romance like Judith Rochelle! Ryan Cutter is the perfect cowboy, a man dedicated to the best interests of White Tail. His involvement in charities is endearing but it is the passion that flares up between Ryan and Paige that kick this one up a notch. Sparks fly from their very first encounter as the steam these two generate is scorching!

Judith Rochelle paints a beautiful picture of the town of White Tail. From the residents to the very land itself, White Tail is vividly portrayed as a small but oh so caring and beautiful town. However, these aren't the only secondary characters as the slime and sheer nastiness of the Balwins is evident and it is easy to see why Paige fled. However, it is her mom, Georgia, who stands head and shoulders above the other secondary characters as woman well worth knowing.

Without giving any spoilers, let me just say that LOVE WITH A PROPER RANCHER offers a truly rewarding conclusion. Judith Rochelle knows how to write one emotional tale and there are some very satisfying moments, moments that made me want to stand up and cheer. If you haven't read LOVE WITH A PROPER RANCHER, you are missing out on one fantastic story. Highly recommended!

This one surprised me. Paige started out as though she was the kind of weak-kneed heroine who let life happen to her. As soon as she meets Ryan Cutter though, that turned around fast. The sparks between these two were incredible, and it swiftly turned into a romantic and sexy romp. I'm really looking forward to more books by this entertaining author.

Paige Cavanaugh has been jilted again. She was 30 minutes away from getting married when she discovers the true reason of why her fiancé, Michael Baldwin, is marrying her. Angry and upset, Paige storms out and heads out of town. She ends up in the small town of White Tail.

Ryan Cutter finds Paige asleep in her car, in the parking lot of his law firm. Ryan is a powerful man in White Tail. Being a lawyer and owning a large cattle ranch in town, he is used to getting his way and he wants Paige out.

Paige decides to stay in town. She gets a job and a place to stay, and frequently runs into Ryan. Their meetings at first are usually confrontational, though soon an attraction grows between them. Ryan decides the best way to get rid of his lustful thoughts about Paige is to indulge in one night of passion with her. One night proves just to be a catalyst though. Soon Paige and Ryan are looking for much more from each other.

Back at home, Paige's dad is realizing that he made a huge mistake in making a deal with Michael and his family. Now he has to find a way out of the mess he has made for Paige and himself.

Paige knows she has to tell Ryan everything but she is afraid of losing him. Finding out the woman you love has lied and deceived you would make any man leave. Paige hopes that her man is different though. When he discovers the truth what will Ryan do?

Love With The Proper Rancher is a sweet and simple story that is heartfelt and romantic. Paige was looking for a fairytale and Ryan became her prince. I was relieved and happy to see Paige finally get what she deserved and I was thrilled to see Ryan fall hard and fast for Paige after insisting that he wouldn't. Love With The Proper Rancher is a light-hearted story that l left me smiling at the end.
