PLEASE USE YOUR INFLUNCE TO GET THIS CD "LOVE IS THE REASON" RE-RELEASED.

This CD is worth the price just for these two tracks alone:"You are So Beautiful" - I didn't think anyone could ever sing this as well as Joe Cocker but Engelbert made it his - it actually brings tears to my eyes everytime I hear it especially when he hits that high note as only he can do and "We'll Meet Again" - just shows the versatility of his 3 octave voice - he does these BIG powerful tunes so well, absolutely show stopping. No one delivers like Mr. Humperdinck.

This song "We'll Meet Again" has a lot of powerful thoughts. It's dynamite. I hope and pray that somehow, someone can release this album again by Englebert Humperdinck. I've looked all over. If anyone can help --- it'd be appreciated.

Please find a way to reissue this wonderful CD. We'll Meet Again is one of the best songs I have heard Engelbert do and it is a shame it is not available.

Primarily interested in We'll meet again..He really bangs it out....Somehow this needs to be re-released...any solution to an out of print cd?

A devoted Engelbert fan, don't know how I missed this one. It was a super discovery because I have most everything he has recorded and considered it a real treasure to find something I haven't heard. The last song on the CD is worth the purchase...Engelbert at his best. Another fine example of this talented man's international appeal and staying power.

This Cd misses the mark of excellence that usually is the trademark of one of our greatest if not THE greatest vocalist we have. His clear, honest and powerful range sets him apart in a world of average Joes. Two songs stand out on this CD that join his long list of classics. Wrap your arms around me and Someone to Love are the 2 and while some make like the other songs on this CD since he doesn't know how to sing bad, the songs just are lacking the style or the heart and soul Engelbert usually pours into his phrasing and powerful delivery.

Was all I expected in the CD. Music all great and received my order prompt. Would order again. Thanks

What an incredible surprise "Love is the Reason" is! This album--an Englebert Humperdinck essential--is, hands down, the most revolutionary of adult contemporary releases by any artist. Never have I been more shocked and, strangely, enlightened by such a cynical and misanthropist recording by the usually happy-go-lucky Humperdinck. As the album title suggests, love really IS the reason! But not the reason for what you might expect; although Humperdinck's songs are obstensibly very light, the listener senses a bit of sarcasm that makes you wonder if good ol' Humpy isn't hitting the bottle a little more often these days (remember the 70s!?). A truly terrific buy from an extraordinarily gifted artist!!

I know I must have ordered this CD, but punhed in the wrong data. Already have this one and enjoy it very much. Probably will have to sent this one back when it arrives. Sorry, will continue using Amazon tho. Thanks
