More About the Author

Amy Barrington was born in 1965, just a few brief months before Jesus approached Helen Schucman with his dictation for "A Course in Miracles". Born and raised in the small town of Dillon, SC, Amy demonstrates for us all in "Love Remembered" that one need not meet any particular stereotype to be a mystic, for as Amy says, EVERYONE is a mystic per our eternal connection to our Creator. We merely need help remembering how to listen. In 2006, Amy discovered that very Help by way of communication with the Divine, rendering her life forever changed. "Love Remembered" is Amy's first published book. She continues to write while residing in NC with her husband, daughter, and four cats.

I began reading "A Love Remembered" a few months ago. This is a book that will leave you looking at life in a whole new way. And not just your life, but other's lives. I can honestly say that this book "changed" me and has brought new vision to me in the terms of my relationship with Jesus, my relationship with my family, loved-ones, friends and even strangers! I found myself reading parts of the book, stopping and then reflecting on my life in realation to what Amy was telling.
Amy lets you into her personal life and relationship with "J" which says a lot for her. She completely lets down her guard and in doing so, you feel as if you are there with her.
This book leaves you feeling as if a weight has been lifted off of your shoulder, that you have been carrying with you forever.
In writing this, I actually have a hard time coming up with the correct words to describe how touching and wonderful this book is and what it has meant to me. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking at their relationship with God, their friends, family, and life in general and would like to put things in "perspective" so to speak!

"Love Remembered" was the one book I chose to have with me while my husband had heart surgery. I could stay focused only for little bits of time, but found pearls of wisdom, where ever I opened the book. Amy Barrington's style, along with Jesus, is delightful, fun and witty. It helped me more than anything to remember that I was never alone. I could truly feel that I was being supported by friends, family and Jesus. We all have valleys to explore while we are here. This book helped make one of my valleys a very blessed one.

Amy Barrington shares her personal life experiences on a level that any person can relate to in her book, Love Remembered... I have a new outlook on life and PEOPLE as a result of reading her insightful book... This book is both inspirational and in a great way, mind altering. It is written in a most extraordinary fashion in that it is an easy read and will benefit all who take the time to read Love Remembered, A Course in Miracles...
