About the Author
For over twenty years, Dr. Linda De Villers has dedicated her professional life to helping others celebrate their sexuality through deeper understanding and appreciation, and to respect the sexuality of others.
Known for her engaging, witty, down-to-earth style, Linda has taught thousands in her popular human sexuality courses and led dozens of professional workshops for the past decade throughout California. She has also lectured internationally in diverse areas of the world, including Paris, Amsterdam, Valencia, Spain, and Buenos Aires.
Dr. De Villers also works privately with individuals, couples and small groups, helping people replace their sexual concerns and difficulties with sexual confidence and a richly satisfying sex life.
Since her ground-breaking research on the sexual benefits of aerobic exercise, her work has been recognized nationally and internationally. Dr. De Villers' expertise and insights have been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and in magazines such as Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Men's Health and many others. She's written for Playboy and appeared on many national and local television programs. She's also an active member of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality.
She serves on the professional education committee of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is AASECT's District I chair. She serves on the boards of the Los Angeles County Psychological Association and the Group Psychotherapy Association of Southern California
Currently residing on the Westside of Los Angeles, Linda thrives on world travel and is fluent in French. She's an avid tennis player and skier, a gourmet cook and a lover of film and the arts.
