About the Author
Known for her engaging, witty, down-to-earth style, Linda has taught thousands in her popular human sexuality courses and led dozens of professional workshops for the past decade throughout California. She has lectured internationally in diverse areas of the world, including Paris, Amsterdam, Valencia, Spain, Buenos Aires, and Havana, Cuba.
Dr. De Villers also works privately with individuals, couples and small groups, helping people replace their sexual concerns and difficulties with sexual confidence and a richly satisfying sex life.
Since her ground-breaking research on the sexual benefits of aerobic exercise, her work has been recognized nationally and internationally. Dr. De Villers' expertise and insights have been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and in magazines such as Glamour, Cosmo, Redbook, Men's Health, Details, and many others. She's written for Playboy and appeared on many national and local television programs.
She has served on the national board of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) as the Far Western States District Representative and on its professional education committee. She has also served on the boards of the Los Angeles County Psychological Association and the Group Psychotherapy Association of Southern California. Shes also an active member of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality.
Currently residing on the Westside of Los Angeles, Linda thrives on world travel and is fluent in French. She's an avid tennis player and skier, a "healthy gourmet" cook and a lover of film and the arts.
