Just in time for "Valentine's Day", is this release from Hip-O Records of "Love Songs", in an intimate setting with the great ballad singer - Jeffrey Osborne. Songs from the '70s, '80s, '90s and the full-length version of "THAT'S FOR SURE" (2000), makes this a package full of warmth, romance, joy and sensual arrangements as only Osborne can sing them.

Scored with the international hit - "ON THE WINGS OF LOVE" (1982), has earned five gold and platinum albums - compared to James Ingram and Luther Vandross, believe Jeff's voice has more sensitivity and passion - which is the drawing power to this very talented artist.

All 18 tunes have "love" written all over them...Pat Lawrence and Rhonda Shields deserve much of the credit for this Hip-O collection from the "Woo Woo Man" - JEFFREY OSBORNE!

Jeffrey Osbourne can Sing/Sang.He handles this Material as He did the LTD Material&Puts alot of Emotion,Heart&Soul into it.this a winning collection of material.it's a shame he doesn't get more attention for his talent.He can sing circles around 9&half out of ten acts out now.

Jeffrey Osborne was one of the 1980s premier male R&B vocalists but he never really attained (in my opinion) the mainstream success and recognition he deserved. This near-perfect collection contains both his solo hits and some of his earlier work with LTD and can be considered a definitive compilation. Like Howard Hewett and James Ingram, Mr. Osborne was one of the best balladeers of his time but his albums (while critically acclaimed) did not sell well enough to keep him at the top of the charts.

Excellent CD...if you are a Jeffrey Osbourne Fan, you can't go wrong. He was LTD...and of Love Ballad the old classic is on this CD as well. A perfect gift or a nice way to unwind.

This CD has some of the best selections of love songs you can find, on one of my favorite artist, Jeffrey Osborne I truly recommend it.

Jeffrey Osborne's "Love Songs" Collection is a compilation of 18 true love songs, guaranteed to please anyone with discerning taste. I discovered this collection on Amazon quite by accident, and after sampling the selections, wondered why I didn't own this CD. It is one of those CD's where there's NO song you want to skip while listening to it. I cannot even begin to determine which song is my favorite. Jeffrey's sultry, smooth voice will grab you from the very beginning. Turn the lights down low, close your eyes and get ready to enjoy. You can listen to this one over and over, all night long.

I rated it five stars . . would've given it more if I could. The one and only missing factor from this CD is "Stranger", which is one of the most heartfelt love songs ever written. Couldn't quite figure out why that song was not included on this disc. Anyway, take my word for it, J.O.'s Love Songs will not disappoint . .

Jeffrey Osborne is one of the greatest singers of our lifetime. Everyone should take the time to listen closely to his music. Even my nine year old appreciates his sound and begged until I took her to see him in concert. It was a great concert and he was so nice to give autographs and speak to her in person!

I always enjoyed Jeffrey Osborne as a ballad singer and so putting all of his love songs together is a great way to create a "best of" collection. The arrangement of music works very well: it has made me pay attention to songs that I paid little attention to the first time around and so now, just a few weeks after my purchase, I have new favorites ("I'll Make Believe" and "Greatest Love Affair") alongside my old ones ("Crazy 'Bout Cha" and "Let Me Know"). I have no complaints: the music is as good or better than I remember, and JO's voice is amazing -- smooth and loaded with emotion.

i love it....love it....love it!! Jeffrey has that bone chilling soul "full" sound voice that can make anybody enjoy being in love!!!!

This CD is still one of the greatest love stories of all time, my husband listen to it everyday since I brought it....get it couples!
