The Manhattans are one of the all-time greatest purveyors of smooth and sweet soul balladry and this collection is a perfect anthology of their best and most romantic tracks. Unfortunately, most of their original Columbia LPs have yet to be reissued on CD in their entirety but this CD brings you most of their most memorable slow jams.

This music is so melodic and smooth. The Manhattans were one of those groups that just put you in that special mood with your significant other. This is a must have for any true lovers of soul melodic music. This is one of those examples of quiet storm music.

The Manhattans - what a great-sounding group! This is music at its best - great melodies, great arrangements and great lyrics - stuff you can't get from "today's artists".
