An excellent album, long out of print., June 23, 2004

This album is a total joy, relentlessly upbeat without being sappy, and always interesting. It went out of print about 5 minutes after it was released in, I think, 1973, and even vinyl copies are in the $20.00-$40.00 range. This is a Japanese re-print, and the quality is just as good as the vinyl (I can't tell the difference, but I'm not an audiophile). When I bought mine about three years ago, it cost $25.00, so if you are interested you should get it now before the price goes up any further, or worse they stop making it. If you want to find out about this record, go to your local Jazz radio station and have them play the first track.
