You don't have to be a hopeless romantic to fall hopelessly, November 22, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Love Songs (Audio CD)
This album is so very addictive. Beginning with the extended play Everytime You Go Away, to the Crowded House's Don't Dream It's Over - he covered that so very masterfully. Senza Una Donna sung with Zucchero to the bluesy Now I Know What Made Otis Blue. Some old, some new, some borrowed, some blue...how very fitting. He has such an enduring voice - it just calls to you from the cd player. Could anyone resist this man? The numbers would be very few. This and his 1997 self-titled release show why Paul Young is not an 80's has been. He is very much vital, potent, and necessary to the genre. This is more than worth the cost. Buy two cds - one will eventually get scratched and you'll not be able to wait for the shipping time to get another.

Amazing, March 24, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Love Songs (Audio CD)
This is an amazing album. I've been listening to it constantly for two weeks, putting it in the CD player in the car for the drive to work, then taking it out and taking it with me in to work so I can listen to it there. I honestly can't believe how much I love this album. I just ordered another copy so that I can stop carrying the first one around with me and so that if, heaven forbid, something were to happen to that one, I'd have a spare . . .

A Rave from a Paul Young Fan, August 28, 2003
This review is from: Love Songs (Audio CD)
I have been a dedicated fan of Paul Young's since 1985, when I first saw this gorgeous man, and then heard that wonderful voice. This CD has some of his very best songs, ones that show off that voice magnificently. If you love Paul Young, and don't yet have this CD, your collection is not complete.
