This gorgeous compilation of some of Phyllis' greatest ballads is sure to please. Play this CD as background music during a romantic candlelight dinner and the mood will surely be srt. Phyllis' tender, melancholic, evocative and spell-binding voice was (and still is!) nothing short of amazing. Although Phyllis is no longer with us (physically) her legacy of recorded music bears a very strong testimony to her immense and undeniable talent. BUY IT NOW!!!!

Phyllis Hyman is one of those music acts that didn't ever get her due, but folks who know her work will all say as i do that she was the real deal and she had range and stylings that could hang with just about anyone. this compilation is very smooth and it highlights real strongly. for a fan of her's or just a newbie this is worth checking out and into.

IF YOU BELIEVE IN TRADITIONAL LOVE AND LOVE SONGS, THEN THIS IS THE CD FOR YOU. PHYLLIS HYMAN'S LOVE SONGS IS FULL OF SULTRY-NESSSS, AND SMOOTH JAZZ. I FIND IT VERY RELAXING TO LISTEN TO THIS CD IN A JACUZZI WITH YOUR SPOUSE FOR ROMANTIC MOMENTS, OR QUIETS EVENINGS. IF YOU'VE NEVER BEEN A PHYLLIS HYMAN FAN, YOU WILL BE AFTER LISTENING TO LOVE SONGS.
