I never tire of listening to this CD. . . I love Yanni and have seen him in concert. This CD is emotional but gentle, moving and romantic. You will be soothed, not excited . . . relaxed, not revved up. A different mood than Live at the Acropolis which I also love. I listen to this when I want to read quietly, calm down after a stressful day or feel romantic. I wish it were three times as long!

Love Songs by Yanni is an extraordinary album to own. The soothing, relaxing sounds from Yanni will put you in a trance as soon as you hear the 1st track. "In the Morning Light" feathers a new sound of love through your head and puts you in the mood as easy as it comes. The notes Yanni hits in "Almost a Whisper" can be compared to some of the great anthems of our time as it will never leave your head, filling your mind with fine thoughts of plush velvet silk and the fresh scent of red rose pedals slowly accenting from a breeze onto a vanilla bed of dreams. Yanni delivers once again on this brilliant and vibrant album filled with passionate love songs to hug you to sleep. "Felitsa" is one of my personal favorites as the sounds of ocean waves crashing against white washed rocks on a pebbled beach come to mind and bring upon you instantaneous heaven. Finally, "Enchantment" is the gem of this album. You will hear beautiful sounds and visions of greek gods caressing your shoulders behind Yanni's sexy notes. This is a great cd to add to your Yanni bedroom shrine of his lyrical infection and white lace scented candles. Curl up by the fireplace, dim the lights, or even start a hot bubble bath and get ready to indulge in the sweet sounds of Yanni.

I have bought this CD, I was never a fan of his music, after listening to the first track, I fell in love with this music, it is very original and quite soothing. It is for people who seek harmony in their lives. He is brilliant.

Yanni once told a Rolling Stone Interviewer that his style reacted against the intellectual elitism of jazz musicians...what was missing, he said at the time, was a sense of love, tranquility and peace. Well, Yanni has proven that music doesn't have to be about brains to garner recognition and change lives. He has touched a great many with his spiritual purity and prophetic professionalism. This album made me cry.

Try this one.....It is slow, soft and caressing. It is an amazing unfoldment of soul stirring string of tunes from a natural musician. The creativity is amazing and the ideas are so original. This one just sends me spinning into a world of love, contentment and quietitude. A sunset, a beach easy chair, a glass of your favorite drink and Yanni Love Songs, best medecene to heal the unpleasant flutters of your heart. The best expression of Love possible from humans. Enjoy!!

This album Love Songs has captured my heart and has me feeling like he knows how I feel when I am feeling lonely. I have some special memories with all those songs and I am glad that Yanni has the talent to express those memories for me. I love his music and will buy all his music. He is very talented man and I want him to keep playing his music so I can hear it. If you love piano and you can read music you know the sound of a really great composer.

I get a genuine sense of pleasure listening to the songs on this CD, particularly in gorgeous high fidelity with my $250 headphones. This music is quite well recorded, in addition to its peaceful and emotionally moving properties. Track #6, "In the Mirror" is particularly amazing. The song just washes over me as waves of soothing energy.

To all the negative reviewers (including the amazon reviewer calling this 'bubble bath music'), I guess you'll have to look elsewhere for music that mirrors your inner angst (what shall we call that, 'acid bath music'?). This is peaceful, moving acoustic/synth music. I'm always in the mood for stuff like this.

Simply stated, this my FAVORITE Yanni CD. This is the Yanni I love to listen to. More piano, less synthesizer. Don't get me wrong--I just happen to love most ALL of Yanni's music, but this particular CD is, I believe, his most enjoyable. It has all my favorites, several of which are not included on other compilations, like "In The Mirror", to name just one. (Love that song!) You'll be able to find "Santorini", say for example, on SEVERAL compilations, or "Marching Season", or even "Reflections of Passion". But the bringing together of all of the beautiful songs heard on "Love Songs" is brilliant, and it does not feel at all like a redundant anthology. Given as many compilations CDs as Yanni has, that, in and of itself, is refreshing. Indeed, "Love Songs" is romantic and captivating. This CD is the BEST of the BEST!

Yanni has become my favorite artist from the very first day I heard his music. When I listened to these pieces of music, I felt their soft whispers in my ears and I was flooded with an overwhelming feeling of tranquility. But when I listened to the masterpiece (First touch), I was instantly transformed into another realm and I thought.... Wow!! I've fallen in love. But simply with his music.

I have never been a big fan of piano.....until I heard Yanni. It is the most beautiful, mind sensing music in the world. He makes you think about the beauty in life. You can listen to him and feel what he feels when he is playing and vise-versa. It seems like he can sense what I'm thinking.
