This collection has many great songs, but the sound quality is disappointing. Madacy encoded each track with an encoder called UV22. It makes the music sound like it's being played through a cheap stereo with the base and treble turned all the way up. The sound quality is grainy and the detail in Kenny Rogers voice is washed out. There are many Kenny Rogers collections available. I recommend buying one by someone other than Madacy.

I love Kenny Rogers, and like the other reviewer pointed out, there are a LOT of great songs on these CDs. The problem is that the sound quality is just dreadful, it sounds "tinny", sort of like it would coming out of a tiny speaker without any bass. I'd recommend avoiding this at all cost, and checking out another compilation album, as this collection is not worth owning.

Kenny Rogers Is 1 Of The Best Country Music Singers Of All-Time. His Number 1 Hit "Through The Years" Crossed Over To The Pop Charts. I Like "Love Will Turn You Around". "Lady" Is Another Classic Balled. This CD Is A Must Buy.

I imported the CDs into iTunes and it really is a lovely set. I don't have a problem with sound quality, even listening to the songs as MP3s.

Just great songs.

Practically every song on this CD has me singing along with it. It's great and I don't regret having it in my collection.

I never thought I would be a Kenny Rogers fan but this 3 disk set is wonderful!! What a great choice of Love Songs and very very well done. My husband and I were trying to decide on our song for our first dance for our wedding and one quick pass through these CDs we knew we would pick a song from these disks. It became hard to pick just one. I have always looked for a nice set of romantic love songs for special evenings and until this from Kenny Rogers I hadn't found a CD that had a full CD of good songs. Most "love song" CDs have a few songs that ruin them and you can't just let it run in the background. This set has it times 3!! Now all I need is a CD player with a 3 disk changer and I would be all set! This set is also good for all ages. My husband and I love it in our mid-twenties and my mother and mother-in-law love it in their 50s and 60s.

I just received my cd. My problem is: the track listing you wrote on here is different than what's on the cd. Mine starts with "Love will turn you around" and goes to "You decorated my life." The song i wanted, "Have I told you lately," is not on mine. I purchased the disc based on the track listing here. Please explain.

This sound quality on this box set is HORRID, like it was recorded thru a microphone near a speaker. From a Canadian company called OnQ, it is labelled as using a UV22 encoding scheme to preserve original high definition sound. It's anything but.

A few years ago I got my first Kenny Rogers - not knowing too much about him. This CD is just terrific and also my real favorite everyone should have is Kenny's Collector's Edition. I am so lucky to have "discovered" him for my entertainment Val Luttrell
