We quite liked this one. It is a love story that starts in present day and goes in a time machine to the future. It has themes of a love that transcends time and reincarnation.
The big drawcard is that this is a change of setting into the future to a really effective futeristic look. It has sophisticated effects for a genre with no big history in India that I'm aware of. It is a fresh variation to running through Indian meadows in love!
Yes it can be a bit cute but it is a romance and in that genre it is fine.
The lead male (Harman Barweja) is very handsome and worth watching just for that! But he also does a good job both at acting the romance with longing and sincerity, and the dancing. I dont find Priyanka Chopra wooden as another reviewer either. She is fine for the part.
The plot is straightforward and the music fine but nothing to stay with me. The dancing is good.
Overall package a fresh diversion, excellect visuals for lovers of romance or just something a bit different.

There's nothing like a really good bad movie--except a really great horrible movie with bad acting and cheesy special effects. It's like the Indian Flash Gordon (and I mean that as a compliment.) It seems as if this was a serious attempt by the film makers to make a romantic-action-futuristic-family film, so the actors aren't playing their roles in a tongue-n-cheek (in on the joke) manner. This sincerity makes Harman Baweja's acting that much more awful. Dude cannot act. Like at all. The fact that nearly everyone else is at least decent--including the pink teddy bear--makes his horribleness that much more great. Bollywood's insistence on giving famous people's children's huge platforms regardless of actual acting ability ensures that Harman's inability to do anything well beside run is front and center. I also greatly appreciate Bollywood's consistency in casting the worst acting English-speaking anglos the world may ever know.
The movie is all over the place--rich kid who yearns to be loved, random skinhead chase, parkour, a white guy with dreads, a talking pink teddy bear, time travel, a chase scene complete with explosions. There's some Ozone-esq break dancing (that's a 1984 Breakin reference--and the same movie series I'm convinced Hrithik Roshan learned to dance from) and a completely unnecessary villain. It's ridiculous. Amazingly bad. And I absolutely loved it.

Handsome actor and beautiful actress. Pure clean, beautiful romance. Very fun to watch. Very suitable for all people who are open for Indian culture. After all, it is a beautiful romantic movie that is very touching with a happy ending. Enjoy it on Hulu: [...]

Don't bother with this movie unless you have an undying love of Priyanka Chopra in her diva avatar. The first half, which contains all the worst of Bollywood romance cliches, is so painful that it is not worth sitting through to get to the amazingly bad sci-fi camp-fest that is the second half. The songs are just so-so and the acting from everyone except Ms. Chopra is so dreadfully wooden that this may as well have been made in Hollywood.

The two stars are for Ms. Chopra's diva avatar, which is the only thing worthwhile in the film.

A seriously convoluted love story that takes place in 2008 and then travels to 2050 but not in a seamless or fitting way. The transition is out of left field and makes absolutely no sense... this might as well have been two separate films. The music, which usually helps make an otherwise horrible film somewhat bearable, is mediocre to say the least. The second half of the movie consists of a hodgepodge of ideas from about 5 different Hollywood movies strewn together. A little Terminator, iRobot, Back to the Future, Star Wars and Fifth Element mashed together in a futuristic subplot that only succeeds in showing off how advanced Bollywood's special effects technique has become. That is the only good thing about this movie, the seamless visual effects and the high quality picture. This movie is a colossal waste of time, the story is unrealistic, the acting is awful and I would not recommend it to anyone.
