Editorial Reviews

This Amazing Live Gospel stage play featuring Tommy Ford from "Martin" and Bill Bellamy's "Who's got Jokes", Marcus Nelson from the Grammy-Nominated R&B Group "Az-Yet", and Bridgette Bentley from Oprah Winfrey's hit touring stage play "The Color Purple" is the sequel to "Love Ain't Suppose to Hurt" another outrageously funny live Gospel musical stage play. (Previews available on bcbrecords.com) Tracie (Neice Knight-Preuitt) has decided to take the plunge and walk down the aisle, but an unexpected accident causes Tracie to face yet another issue from her past. Will her bible-toting, shoot from the hip, tell it like it T-I-IS, Aunt Shirley (Bridgette Bentley) be able to shed some light on Tracie's situation. Or will a secret from Aunt Shirley's past cloud her judgment? If you think Tyler Perry's "Madea" is something, then Aunt Shirley is "Something Else"!! Life teaches everyone a lesson in forgiveness. Don't miss the Love, Don't miss the drama. Not a Tyler Perry film

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply unmatched, August 21, 2007
This review is from: Love Ain't Suppose to Hurt II "The Wedding" N/Tyler Perry (DVD)
I own the first one and bought the second one. This was was even better. The messages in this play are so timely and the singing was great. Tommy Ford did a great job as well as Carey Durrell and Marc Nelson. These were the newcomers in the second one. The musical arrangements and vocals were totally superb. May God bless their ministry of plays and I anticipate greater things to come for BCB records.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just Plain Good, August 14, 2007
This review is from: Love Ain't Suppose to Hurt II "The Wedding" N/Tyler Perry (DVD)
If you watched the first one "Love Ain't Suppose to Hurt" you have to watch this one also. All I can say is, that this is simply a good play. The singing once again is great. If you are looking for a good clean, funny movie to share with your friends, family or organization., this is the play. It will make you think as well as entertain you.Check it out!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Play!, February 17, 2008

If you saw the first play, this play is a continuation. I was a little disappointed when Tony Grant was not in it, but Tommy Ford more than made up for it.

As always, the singing was delicious and the play was upbeat and had a very surprised ending. I love Tyler Perry's plays and this could have been one of them.

It had a great message and was upbeat, flowed continuously and was well worth the money I spent.
