It's kind of a cliche among writers, I think, but I really did start writing when I was in the sixth grade way back in the "dark ages". (I used papyrus and charcoal! LOL) It was a little skit which some of my classmates and I "performed" for the class. How I ever managed that, I have no idea - I am actually rather introverted and on the shy side really. But that is where it all began.
And now I have two published novels - "No Sad Songs" and a young adult novel for and about teenagers, "For Love of Teddy". Both are published by PublishAmerica. I have plans to continue in the Young Adult vein and focus my novels on issues which Teenagers face in our modern world and give them new heroes to look up to and perhaps help them focus on building "the good lilfe" for themselves.
On the personal side, I love animals and I raise registered puppies and Miniature Horses. I have a brand new foal now, a paint boy I call Derby because he was born on Kentucky Derby Day this year, June 1.
Among my canine friends, I have Pekingese, Brussels Griffons, Chihuahuas, Miniature Dachshunds, Yorkies, and Shih Tzus. I just love them all and couldn't decide which I liked best.
Oh, and by the way, I am now 76 years old and still looking forward to the Best Days of My Life.
