This CD is another shining example of the Bert Kaempfert sound. Sometimes lively, sometimes serene, but always eminently listenable, Bert Kaempfert and his group of musicians really show their talent here. Although any Kaempfert fan has heard these tracks before, for many of us they have been sitting idly on worn vinyl for far too long. On this CD they are back with a stunning brilliance that will make them seem fresh again. This CD is simply a must for any Kaempfert fan - or anyone who appreciates fine
music .

Not the best and not the worse of Bert's records but just wonderful music. Over 50% of the songs written with Herbert Rehbein are the cherries on the cake, four cherries sweeter than the others 1.Mahattan after dark 2.Lonely is the name 3.You are my way of life 4.Welcome to my heart
Nothing more...Bert and his music are just far above above any possible judgement.

Iam a Great bert K fan. I have several of his c/ds and love them all. Does anyone know where I can find the band members for the different albums? I am especially interested in what trumpet players he uses on different alblums. michel@wildblue.net

This is one of the results of the technical revolution in bringing back to us who love good instrumental music the ability to listen to two very good vinyl albums on one CD. Twenty three tracks of delightful music to warm your soul through and through. Do yourself a favour and give it a listen. You will like it as much as I do.
