This story was all over the place. Character was a guillable, confused and abused soul. He went from one domestic violent situation and jumped right into another, giving his heart and money immediately without thought leaving himself open to be used at will. The sex scenes were out of sequence with the story, without one mention of a condom. The best part of the whole book was the last page which was a letter written by a victim summing up the why of the whole story. This could've been a very promising book if this story had come together a little better.

First off i just want to say that the author had to have paid Omarion and Fantasia for those reviews because anyone who can read will agree, that this book is HORRIBLE! the story is so wild and out there that its really hard to take it serious. the characters are like sterotypical. it jumps around from place to place like maybe you would think the main character is dreaming his whole life. I say please dont waste your money and if you are like me, more importantly your TIME! ENDING SUX! REGINALD DO BETTER please.

The story was interesting; BUT, some of the events made absolutely no sense. For instance, if Juan had $175,000.00 dollars in his bank account how come he could not make his mortgage payments? I just did not get that. And there are other parts where it seems the author forgot what he wrote previously in relation to what he was writing at that time. Did he or anyone else proofread this book? The violence was over the top. And while in jail he wakes up his first night and his other cell mate is standing in front of his bed waiting for him to give him oral sex and he does without any fight AND he enjoys it. That is just unreal. Finally, I just kept thinking throughout the whole book, this guy is the biggest idiot I ever didn't meet and by the end I was glad he got caught!!!

I did'nt know that how it went down, I felt this book was good he told a story of a gay man name Juan, who was as dump as they come, he let them dudes straight run him all the while he giving it 100%. I like the author's stlye he told a tell of Gay love like I never read before. At times I felt a little uneasy reading it because he told every detail to the T.
It had drama over drama, very fast pace always something going on. He was the pretty gay guy who was misused and abused by every gay thug he fell in love with, sometimes I did'nt know if he was simple or just plain dumb, Giving it all up for what something you already got, stupid! Thanks Reginald for a good book

Where do I start, what can I say about this "book" thats positive...nice title? or the fact that it finally ends? I held such high hopes for this book, that actually started out by grabbing your attention...with a overly dramatic but interesting opening scene. But after that scene it was truely down hill from there, it felt like I was reading a story written by some young Sissy, who has a fantasy about thugs, this story had more holes than an old pair of socks. The storylines were all over the place...and the main character Juan, was just a walking talking stereotype of gay black men, sure his characteristics held some truth, but he and his many storylines were WAAAAAAY over the top! I swear if someone else would have gotten jumped, or gotten killed, or if his "thug" would have F'd him up one more time, i think i would have threw up! That was way to much going on in a "book" that was only 211 pages...

I wouldnt put this high on your list of books to buy...at all. if you have a friend that know owns it, borrow theirs, you'd be better off for it...

This book will not disappoint. I loved all of the DRAMA and MANHEM! God it was wonderful! You must buy it!

I think this book was a good book. It was different from most other Black Gay books on the market now. At times I wasn't really into the story, but some times I couldn't wait to turn the page!! The only downfall of the book is how naive the main character, Juan, was the whole book. Overall the book was a good one though.

this book good from begining to end. enriched with flare and life. with twist and turns it will leave you speechless. thanks Mr. Hall for a great read. ten stars all the way.

TOTALLY FIVE STAR MATERIAL..AND A TRUE PAGE TURNER RIGHT UNTIL THE ENDING

I love Black SGL fiction and I support the authors who try and change the writing game but this book was crazy an unbelievable. Not to mention poorly written. I read the first chapter and a half before losing interest. I probably would have been able to keep up with it however it was so poorly written it aggravated me. If you want to read this book, please borrow it from a friend.
