Raves from my little engineer . . .
My two and half year old loves this child-narrated, highly entertaining video of all kinds of toy trains (Lionel, Brio and many others) interspersed with shots of real trains. He loves the part where the dinosaurs ride the toys trains - the songs are fun and it's one of the few videos that parents won't mind sitting through the requisite 2,000 or so times.

Can't return it!
I have no doubt that this is a wonderful video for kids because my own like it so much that I could never return it. But the sound quality is so poor that I cannot be in the same room with it! If you ever bought a video from a street peddler with sound quality this bad, you'd demand your money back. The volume jumps, there's hissing and popping and the voices sound like...

This series is wonderful. My 3 year old is hooked, but this one is a sure fire favorite with the inclusion of the dinasours. Great footage of model and real trains, catchy music and some educational material interwoven make this a great video for all ages. Preschoolers will want to watch it again and again!

I have no doubt that this is a wonderful video for kids because my own like it so much that I could never return it. But the sound quality is so poor that I cannot be in the same room with it! Best train videos on the market. My Grandson has watched these dozens of times. He knows every Steam engine by site. It has been a great source of learning for him. He sings with the songs. We have the whole set. He started on these at age 2.5 and at 6 still uses them.
