I was so happy to see that this original LP from 1979 was finally available on CD, thanks to a Japanese record label. Classic disco, soul, and funk all blend to make one of the best disco records of the late 1970's - Gloria Gaynor at her finest. "I Said Yes" is one of my all-time favorites, and arguably, one of the best disco songs ever! The re-mastered sound is terrific!

I'm listening to my vinyl copy, which I purchased thanks to Amazon. However, this should be available on CD in the U.S., and not at the exorbitant prices being charged for used copies of a Japanese import disc.

This album is a classic R&B disco album. Released in 1978, "I Will Survive" became the runaway hit, followed up by "Anybody Wanna Party," which is a classic in its own right. Gaynor was in her prime, those really were the days. A classic!
