Book Description

In "Love Travels Forever," Jaye Frances captures the reader’s heart with an inspiring collection of seventeen stories filled with romance and passion, the hopeful innocence of youth, and a love so strong that it transcends the mortality of life. Here are just a few of the people you’ll meet:

Evan and Frankie, a loving couple traveling through life hand-in-hand, are unaware that the shadow of fate is about to tear them apart. Helpless to change their shortened future together, one of them makes a promise—a promise of devotion and courage, honoring a love that surpasses the boundaries of time.

Mark and Janice, the perfect couple with the perfect life, are on the threshold of finally seeing their dreams come true—until an unexpected circumstance changes their lives forever.

Danny, a young soldier fresh out of boot-camp, is desperate to find a way to travel home and marry his sweetheart before being shipped overseas. Stranded in a train station on a three day pass with no hope in sight, Danny meets Wanda, an incredible woman who vows to find a way to bring Danny and his fiance together.

Nora and Georgia are two eight-year-old best friends who share giggles, dolls, and secrets. But when one of them faces sudden danger, the other responds with an unconditional act of love and forges a lifelong bond between them unaffected by fear or prejudice.

So find a quiet spot, get comfy, and grab a box of Kleenex. You’re about to take an unforgettable journey of the heart, to a place where compassion and hope have no limits, and where love continues to travel forever.

Editorial Reviews

Review

Packed full of love, life, emotion, tears, happiness, smiles, heartbreak, warm and fuzzy, kindness, compassion, hope and giving. Moving, touching, beautiful, poignant stories.
Be sure to be alone, with your hanky or tissue and take time to think about what you read as you travel on Jaye's wonderful voyage through life. This is a book you will want to pull out again and again . . .  - Fundinmental

Adjectives that come to mind are sweet, poignant, cute, sad, bittersweet, etc. The reason for this variety of emotions is because this is an anthology and there are a variety of story types. . . these are stories of love, but no, they aren't about one kind of love. I think I was most taken by the ones that weren't about romantic love though there are some good samples of that included too. I particularly enjoyed the smooth narrative tones of these stories both from a first person and third person perspective. - Sophia Rose, Guest Reviewer for Delighted Reader

This book along with its beautiful love stories gives you lessons as well. Jaye Frances did a beautiful job of bringing together these short, yet powerful stories of love, showing us every side of it. I highly recommend this book of short stories that will surely warm you heart and bring a smile to your face.  - TwoGirlsReading

The one thing that ties every one of these stories together is Love. Keeping love, finding love, maintaining love, love in all of its forms and shown in many different ways. And who doesn't LOVE love? Really? Filled with the writing the author is known for, these smoothly crafted and supremely touching stories each have a moment of resonance with all readers. - The Jeep Diva

5.0 out of 5 stars Love Travels Forever.......... November 4, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I have just finished the latest Jaye Frances book, "Love Travels Forever" and I have to say I loved it! Jaye once again takes the reader through an emotional trip touching on ones heart strings of love, romance, nostalgia, sadness, joy, hope, inspiration and human compassion. In writing about the bonding of a father and daughter, stories of childhood best friends, high school attachments, even strangers who touched each others lives without meeting. These stories along with the constant underlying message of the passage of time in regards to various relationships in our lives has to open ones eyes to their own mortality and what each individual person has experienced on their own personal level. I know for myself it made me sit down with my wife of 43 years and look at old pictures going back to our school days and reminisce about the people we encountered and of our lives together. Thank you Jaye for a wonderful and emotional look back at our lives.

I couldn't think of a better timing to read this book and my first thought was "EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ IT". After we are done buying turkeys and sweet potatoes, running around buying gifts, trees, and decorations, and just simply rushing thru life, spending every minute of it to accomplish more, to make more, to get better and more expensive things, we need to stop or at least slow down.
In our race for something in life we forget the true meaning of simple words like LOVE, HONESTY, APPRECIATION, HELP.....We all forget to be grateful for simple things in life and realize how important it is to live every day like it would be our last. Live in a moment! This book with its short stories is like a little wakeup call for us to take a deep breath and to reflect on our life and those around us. Its' kind of a book that you will pick up over and over again when you need a break, when you need a little pick me up when you are down. This book with all the characters are real people like you and me, people who at some point in their lives came across a story or a person who made them realize what is really important in life. So read the book and I can guarantee you, you won't regret it and you will want to get this book for your friends and loved ones. Happy Reading!!! Carpe diem!

4.0 out of 5 stars Very inspirational, but I prefer novels January 23, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
This collection of true, inspiring love stories was uplifting to read, but it was not at all the book I expected when I purchased it based on the summary. I found the short passages to be uplifting and memorable, but it read more like a journal than a book of stories.

I don't normally review collections or anthologies, but I am very glad I made an exception for `Love Travels Forever'. Ms. Frances will touch your heart and soul through the seventeen stories of love, friendship, and romance. Each of the stories touched me in a different way, whether fostering sorrow, regret, happiness, and hope. `Love Travels Forever' teaches us to take a step back from the rush of life and just enjoy time with our loved ones.
