LOVE WHITNEY is a collection of Whitney's best signature ballads, everything from her own rendition of I Will Always Love You, to Exhale (Shoop Shoop), I Believe In You And Me, etc etc. 16 tracks in all, but it makes me wonder why it was even released. The first disc of her GREATEST HITS was a collection of ballads, 13 of these 16 songs appeared on that collection, the extra songs being Miracle, For The Love Of You and Just The Lonely Talking Again. It's a nice CD, but what was Arista thinking, releasing a CD almost identical to one they released a year and a half ago? Anyways its still nice and the booklet is pretty nice, good pictures of Whitney which is the icing on the cake.

Whitney Houston remains as one of the greatest singers of our time. Her songs still express a side of happiness and soul searching that still continues in our lives.

Love, Whitney is a collection of 16 of Whitney's love songs. It adds the feel of extra songs that were overlooked on The Greatest Hits. Songs like For The Love Of You, and Until You Come Back are some of the tracks off this collection that have strong potential as Houston standards. Also megahits I Will Always Love You, and You Give Good Love are featured on this album.

With all the teen idols and hip hop taking place in the mainstream, Whitney Houston still remains as the greatest diva of our times. This collection might seem to be overlooked in place of albums featuring Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys, but Love, Whitney is one collection that is absolutely worth checking out.

An awesome collection from the unique and incredible voice of Whitney Houston. After listening, you quickly understand why we fell in love with her in the 90's. Please Whitney, come back and give us more! Love, Me

Bought this CD for a friend and decided to rip it on my own computer. Glad I did as this is the epitomy of what Whitney was able to do prior to her decline in to drugs, etc. Wonderful album just to sit back, relax and listen.

This was purchased as a gift and one for myself. Every song is a hit, it is Whitney at her best.

Im a big big Whitney Houston fan. I know that she has had her share of problems and all but the girl can sing. I didnt have this CD and I was in the mood for some Whitney Houston so I ordered it. It brought back good memories of when these songs were on the charts and being played everywhere!!

If all albums were put together and given with so much "love" the music industry wouldn't have anything to complain about. Nothing is left out of this one--it's love, pure love, and one love song after another lifts you and doesn't let you down!

Although this cd is almost identical to her double-disk greatest hits album, there are a few new songs as well. I have to say, I only bought this cd for one song. That song was the Isley Bros remake of, "For the Love of You." I originally heard it on WNUA 95.5 radio station. From that point on I had to have it.

While I love Whitney and these songs are fine, this compilation is simply unnecessary. She has already released these songs on Disc 1 of her greatest hits CD. There are no new songs, live versions, unreleased tracks, or alternate takes, just the same songs we've heard before. This is just a gimmick to make money. Shame on Arista for squandering Whitney's talent for this cash grab. The same goes for Madonna who says that the reason she didn't put any new songs on GHV2 (her new collection) was because it was a greatest hits album, and should only include those songs. Shame on her too. It's disappointing when singers of their stature (and wealth) resort to these lazy attempts to extort money from fans. Both these albums are failing miserably on the charts and deservedly so. Didn't they learn from Celine Dion and that pathetic greatest hits album she released last year (only one year after the real greatest hits album came out)? Evidently not.

I have been a fan of whitney's since the mid-80's
and she is the best ever. Her voice is still as great as it was back then. My favorite song from her is greatest love of all.
I have all of her albums from 1985-now. She is the best artist of this time.
