About the Author

Kathryn Alice, RScP, is a well-known love guru who teaches in over seven cities through the Learning Annex and at conferences nationwide. Based at the Agape Spiritual Center in Los Angeles, Kathryn directed their Crisis Support Team for six years. Kathryn has appeared on "Montel," in Seventeen magazine and on "Single Talk," among many media appearances. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Kathryn has had many articles published on the subject of love and dating. I got this book after deciding in early 2010 that I was ready to be in a marriage-bound relationship. But not just with anyone, with my soulmate. I'd been using the Law of Attraction in my financial life and saw great improvement when it occurred to me that I could use it for love. I got another book on LoA and soulmate love but didn't complete it because the work felt too clinical. After a few searches, one person's name kept popping up: Kathryn Alice. I happened across a few podcasts and listened in and felt like her approach was one I really liked.

I bought the book on June 10, 2010 chronically single. I'd not been on a date in almost 5 years, and been told by many mediums that there was a "block" over my love life. However, someone mentioned to me that thae only "block" over my life was mental. I set a new intention with a close friend and we decided we would apply the LoA principles to create a fabulous love life.

So, I started doing the work in her book (along with the podcasts) and journaled the process. Some of the "rituals" felt silly but I realized that nobody but me knew I was doing them. I reread snippets of the book as needed, followed Kathryn Alice's newsletters, tweets and any audio I could find. I even redid some of the rituals like the "soul call" every time I was feeling down. It was my way of keeping my love cup full. I started journaling about my process and in looking back at the entries noticed how when I became more positive and less frustrated (and desperate) things started shifting towards the better.

The week after I got the book, I updated my online dating profile and magnetized a few really amazing guys. After not having gone on a date for 5 years, I was already juggling men! One stood out b/c he was closest to everything on my soulmate wish list. After 3 months of dating, I realized he was the One. He proposed recently after a year of dating and during the proposal told me he felt we were "designed for each other". We'll be getting married soon.

I gave a copy of the book to my best friend a few months ago who is also "chronically single" and though she, like me, was resigned to being single NYCers forever and together, she's now magnetized an amazing man who fits 90% of her soulmate wishlist criteria.

I love this book! It is very positive,upbeat and full of true-life stories to give the lovelorn individual hope. It is different from most other dating/relationship oriented books in that it is ALL about the inner work that you have to do. No manipulation tips, ideas on where to run into the opposite sex, how to dress or talk etc - none of that. The biggest change that I have seen in my life after reading Ms Alice's book is that I am actually attracting quality guys now instead of males with serious baggage issues - I'm starting to see changes in my dating patterns already.

This is a great book! At least, I think it is. lol. I only got to the third chapter and then I met the girl of my dreams -- it happened that fast! So I never finished the book. ;)

The book talks about 9 "love magnets" -- nine different things you can do to prepare for and attract your soulmate and ideal relationship. I only got to the 3rd magnet before my Special Someone showed up -- and I'm very happy! :)

If you're ready for love, I will highly recommend this book. It dispels a lot of myths, provides great encouragement and hope -- and in my experience, works lightning fast! :)

And here's the best part: I didn't have to "do" anything out of character to attract this dream girl. I was just being myself, being and doing only what was natural to who I honestly am ... and she found me! :)

It really can be effortless, once you make yourself ready on the INSIDE. And this book really helps heal and open up your heart to real, deep love.

Just be yourself. It makes it a whole lot easier for your soulmate to recognize you that way. ;)
