About the Author
MELINA GEROSA BELLOWS is Chief Creative Officer for National Geographic Books, Kids and Family, which includes the award-winning, number one children's magazine National Geographic Kids. In addition to authoring five books, she has written for such publications as Entertainment Weekly, The New York Times, National Geographic Traveler, Cosmopolitan, and Glamour. She has appeared on such TV shows as The Today Show, The View, Good Day New York, and Fox and Friends, as well as on CNN.

This was an amazing collection of photographs that will bring you a great picture of fatherhood that transcends human relationships through pictures of animals being great fathers. The book's collections of photos create an amazing book that any father will appreciate. So whether you are looking for a book that would be great for a gift for fathers day, or just an overall gift, this was a beautifully done book that I would highly recommend!

The book is subtitled "A Book of Thanks," and that's an apt description. To graphically illustrate the feelings of children for their fathers, and to "articulate something we may not have words to express," the author has used pictures of animals that capture the true spirit of fatherhood.
"Love You, Dad" is another superb collection of photographs from National Geographic. The book includes about fifty photographs from the animal kingdom: on land, in the sea, and in the air. Each the fifty photos is captioned with the words "Love you, Dad, for...", followed by a humorous blurb that fits the photograph perfectly.
Kudos to the author, Melina Gerosa Bellows, for creating a remarkably entertaining tribute to fathers everywhere.
