5.0 out of 5 stars a must read for your marriage!
This isn't your typical marriage book. It's filled with real-life humor, practical advice, Scripture-based guidance, and a reminder of how important unconditional love really is.

From wrestling to Wal-Mart, this book is a gem.

Blessings!

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
This is my first review, evidence of how I feel about this. This is a VERY Christian book. Unfortunately of the genre that tells us to love and trust God and all our problems will be magically solved or seem insignificant. 5.0 out of 5 stars Very Well Written!, October 20, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This book was very well written and somewhat hilarious at times, especially the thrift shop story. It was enjoyable to read while being practical to apply to your marriage. I could relate to many of stories Joey shared. It's nice to take advice from someone who is actually living it every day. Well done, Joey!

4.0 out of 5 stars Real Life!, April 23, 2008
This review is from: I Love You Unconditionally...on One Condition: Everyday Choices for an Extraordinary Marriage (2=1 Books) (Paperback)
This book puts the responsibility for the success of marriage in to the hands of the husband and wife. O'Connor accurately portrays marriage as exactly what it is: a choice you make every single day to love and serve each other. A fun read with realistic scenarios provoking a thoughtful approach to the day-in-day out ordinary choices you make in lasting love.

The author makes a lot of promises, talks about a lot of problems, and quotes a lot of scripture, but never ties them together into practical solutions. While the reassurance that God will take care of everything is good for some others of us find it less than fulfilling and need a tie to Christiaon based actions that lead to peace. Sorry, wish I hadn't bought it, waste of money and time.
