Whitney Houston's "My Love Is Your Love" was a massive single worldwide, a dance floor stomper in the summer of 1999 that became a radio anthem for New Years 2000.

All of the mixes on the single and the original version are great in their own right. The Jonathan Peters' mix is the best known: this is the best produced, most far-reaching and commercially successful mix he's ever released by a long shot. It's a full 13 minute club anthem with dub parts, Whitney's full vocals, drop-outs, and synths. It's very Euro, hi-NRG sounding at 137 BPM. This mix was so successful that the edited version is what later became a radio hit worldwide.

The Thunderpuss mix is also excellent - not as good as their mix of "It's Not Right But It's Okay", but still very good. Wyclef's mix and the original version are superb R&B mixes that got lots of airplay too.

This song was remarkable in its crossover success: #1 on the Dance/Club Chart (Aug '99), #2 on the R&B chart, and #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Dec '99). The single went platinum in the U.S., and in fact, was one of the last singles ever to do so. MLIYL was also a chart topper in several countries in Asia and Europe.

When I think of Whitney Houston's "My Love Is Your Love" it makes me wonder what has happened to U.S. radio, the commercial single, and Whitney herself in just 4 short years?

This is the third straight maxi single from Whitney's "My Love Is Your Love" album that was top notch. The Wyclef mix is awesome, it allows Whitney the change to cut loose and sing, and no one does it better. The Thunderpuss 2000 is good. And yes, the Johnathan Peter's remixes of My Love Is Your Love are all great, this is the one everyone heard on the radio during the summer of 2000. I give Arista credit for doing a great job. Everyone go out and buy this single.

In my opinion, a good song can be catchy, and just have a great sense of soul. FOr somebody like Whitney Houston, she is still one of those acts who has made some of the best soul records today. Yet, it is sad she hasn't released anything new in awhile. Her 1998 single, My Love Is Your Love is a very upbeat and soulful R&B soong. The song is just universal and delightful to all kinds of people who enjoy all different types of great music. I think this still remains as one of her best songs ever, and that still is love. Hopefully, if she comes back she can do another good song like this one.

My Love is Your Love is an otherwise bland song, but when in the hands of master remixers, it's amazing! All the MLIYL mixes are excellent, but the real standout here is the "Release the Love Groove Mix" of It's Not Right But It's Okay by KCC. The 7:05 track is the best remix of the song. Ever (okay, maybe not EVER, but it's still good!). It gives the powerful song a bit of a softer edge than the Thunderpuss mixes. Thanks, Arista and KCC!!!

Thunderpuss 2000 takes Whitney's bland "My Love Is Your Love" and turns it into a club-stomper the same way they did with her "It's Not Right But It's Okay". Lots of strong diva vocals take away the ridiculousness of the lyrics, and bring you into a frenzy of body movements. The sample of Raze's "Break For Love" is wonderful. It's too bad that the other mixes are not as powerful. The Jonathan Peters remixes are ok, but nothing stupendous. The Wyclef mix is good if you are a fan of R&B/Pop and the Salaam remix is an interesting mix which deserves some listening. The new remix of "It's Not Right But It's Okay" is alright as well, a little bit slow, but not bad. The Thunderpuss remixes are what make this disc worthwhile. Let's hope that those Thunderpuss boys take on a Deborah Cox track soon!

The album is some her best,if not her best.This album was truly from the heart.I hope she continues to make such beautiful music even though,people be "all in her BUSINESS"!

Whitney has done it again, once again proving that she's still got, even though Bobby tried to take it. Love her and her voice and her versitality.

Whitney did out-do herself in this single! A wonderful song with touching lyrics, and of course, breathtaking performance.

I also liked the mixes, especially the one by Wyclef Jean.. who also happens to be the writer of this song.

A must for any music lover!

EVEN THOUGH SHE NEVER WRITES HER OWN SONGS, SHE CAN SING LIKE THERES NO TOMORROW. I'M GLAD TO SEE THAT SHE HAS GOT ON THE CLUB SCENE ALOT LATELY HER MY LOVE IS YOUR LOVE D IS FULL OF POTENTIAL HITS BALLADS AND DANCE HITS. I CAN'T WAIT TO HER REMIXES FOR "IF I TOLD YOU THAT" BECAUSE IF IT'S AS HALF AS GOOD AS MY LOVE OR IT'S NOT RIGHT. WATCH OUT DANCE FLOOR HERE I COME. FOR NOW I BOW OUT!
