Agatha Seymour, writer's career was been started by one of her literature professors at the university, when an essay written instead of an oral exam drew the professor's attention to her.

As an author she was predominantly inspired, and is inspired even today, by her favourite author, William Somerset Maugham. The Summing Up by W. S. M. is the writer's favourite book.

The book entitled Love for Life by the author, who graduated as a philosopher of religion, is the first volume that has been published in English and is predominantly about women.

Her wry sense of humour drags the reader from the very first pages and the reader is amazed by the more and more surprising stories. She expresses our fallibility with the bravery of a man, she does not save our womanhood from irony either and she does so in such a charming way as only a woman can write about her own fellow women. Sensuality, humour, tenderness and dramatic passion characterizes the characters of this book, namely women.
