5.0 out of 5 stars From the Back Cover
Love brings healing, restoration and comfort. Never has there been a greater need for love than now in these very difficult days.

So many hearts are broken. So many lives are shattered. Everywhere we turn there is pain and heatache. It seems as though a river of tears has flowed from the hearts of the hurting people of the world.

Love will...

1.0 out of 5 stars Shocking Theology!
Gwen Shaw in her book titled "The Law of Angels" presents the reader with shocking theology. First of all, this book has very little to do with angels and the only significant reference to angels is found on page 41. Next, we see Shaw explain that she believes in the pre-existence or trans-migration of souls as found on page 68. Here Shaw writes that we "always were"...

This review is from: Love: The law of the angels (Paperback)
Gwen Shaw in her book titled "The Law of Angels" presents the reader with shocking theology. First of all, this book has very little to do with angels and the only significant reference to angels is found on page 41. Next, we see Shaw explain that she believes in the pre-existence or trans-migration of souls as found on page 68. Here Shaw writes that we "always were" and that we were "part of God" since the beginning of time and that we have no "beginning or ending." Next, on pages 67, 165 and 166 Shaw writes that Adam was created by God as an androgynous hermaphrodite and that Adam's womb was taken out of him and from this, Eve was created! Finally, Shaw writes this book with the thesis in mind that Christian women have a greater capacity to express the "love of God" therefore, because of their superiority to men, women will be used by God to "usher in His kingdom."

This book contains very serious theological error.

Love will heal these wounds and ease the terrible pain that is in so many hearts. Most of us seek to receive love. This book will help us to give love, and in the giving we will receive, and we will ourselves be healed.

Love is the greatest gift that God has given us. It comes from His very own heart. It is limitless and timeless. As His love flows through us, we become like Him, for God is love (1 John 4:8b).

During a time of great need in her life, the author experienced the overwhelming diving love of God. It was then that the Holy Spirit revealed to her the wonderful truths which she so freely shares in this book.

This book is undoubtedly the greatest of the author's writings. It is life changing, and it will change your life as she shares with you the truths that were revealed to her when her life was changed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love...The Law of the Angels and of Sister Gwen, June 12, 2010

This review is from: Love: The law of the angels (Paperback)

Sister Gwen lives the message of this book. She is one of the few truly-secure Christian leaders who has no problem moving others toward the forefront of ministry. She delights to share the podium with anyone who has a heart for God, a message from Him.

She is not a publicity-seeker; she seeks only The Face of God. She is not a man-pleaser; she seeks to please only God. She is not self-focused; her face is set like flint toward The Kingdom of God. I could go on and on.

In this day of "I disease" and "me-itis" and "one-up-manship" and "get, get, get" Sister Gwen is unique. Her approach is refreshing. Her love is genuine and reaches around the world. Sister Gwen not only "talks the talk," she "walks the walk."

Love: The Law of the Angels is a deep book. It requires careful reading and rereading, along with thoughtful meditation. The fundamental theme is that God is LOVE and those who are His people will walk according to His pattern and example.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to dig deeper into the Word of God and the character of God. You will be enriched.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love IS the Law of the Angels!!!, May 18, 2010
This review is from: Love: The law of the angels (Paperback)
This book, by Gwen R. Shaw, is one of the most effective, life-changing, books I have every read. And, having watched "Sister Gwen", as she is known, walk this love walk, as well as talk this love talk, for over 20 years, she's the real deal! I don't know of any other woman who can forgive so easily, love so greatly, and still live in this world. She is truly an original!

5.0 out of 5 stars amazing book, May 18, 2010
This review is from: Love: The law of the angels (Paperback)
This book changed my life. I read in 1988 and it is an amazing book because the author is an amazing teacher and mentor. Some would like to discredit her but I have known her and her love for the nations for over 20 years and this is one SOLID Christian lady who still blesses us with her amazing insights and experiences. I give this book a heads up 5. Cecile Thompson
